Chris, have you seen Sweeney Todd (the original production that featured her)?

Wizzer, I don't know much about him... he was in a movie called Tribulation (or was it Revelation) that I liked a lot. Cool that you met him. Sucks he was offended though, lol.

I was in Vegas when Ocean's 11(the remake) was filming and I saw the Chinese guy and the computer guy and bumped into them and said sorry. Little did I know they where in the movie.

Fine, rub it in.

On a very related note, I saw Alice Walker speak earlier this week, which was interesting.

Here is my strange list of famous people I have met:
Myra (she sang "Miracles Happen" for "The Princess Diaries")
Play (you guys would know them for their version of "As Long As Theres Christmas" for the DVD of "Beauty And The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.")
Rose Falcon ("Up, Up, Up" from "Inspector Gadget 2.")
LMNT (They sing "A Whole New World" on Disney Mania 2)
Jump 5 (They sang "Beauty and the Beast" on the DVD)
J-Me (She is an up and coming pop star.)
Zachary Ty Brian (From "Home Improvement.")
BBMak (They had a couple radio hits, including "Back Here")
Ruff Endz (A rap group whos time has both come and gone.)
Yin-Yang Twins (Man, their teeth are scary!!!)
Mario (I forget the name of his big song. Oh well.)
Slater (OK. His name isn't really Slater, but I forgot what it is. He was on "Saved By The Bell." I think his name is also Mario.)
Brian Leary (Anyone remember "Walt Disney World Inside Out?")
And the host of Nickelodean's "Slime Time."

Anywho, my list is very weird. I met most of the pop stars in Disneyland, and some at a concert I took my little brother to. I met Zachary Ty Brian and Brian Leary at MGM Studios. I met all of the rap artists a few years ago when I was a teen reporter for a local talk show. I met BBMak at Burger King, of all places, and I met Slater at my local Blockbuster because he was filming a movie in Wisconsin. So to sum it all up, I haven't met anybody I really want to meet, but you can't choose with this sort of thing. And if it counts, I saw the woman who played Rhoda on Mary Tyler Moore when I was in New York, but I didn't actually talk to her, so I didn't count it.[/b]

I met Angela Lansburry in 2001!

At the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert on Temple Square!

We swinged tickets for opening night! I didn't get to say anything but I did see her in person!

Funny how you didn't get to say anything at first, then have such a long talk with her after the show. :? Unless of course, you saw her again later and had a long talk with her after another show?

Oh. I don't know if you would count this as meeting these people, but I was at a comic convention in Chicago and I bumped into Lou Farigno(The Incredible Hulk) and said excuse me, however he didn't say anything to me. Then at Kevin Smith's View Askew booth, I was purchasing a glow in the dark buddy Christ statue and the person selling it to me was Jason Muze(Jay of Jay and Silent Bob). I was to nervous to actually say anything to him except "thanks" when he gave me my change, but still...

P.S: I guess Mr. Muze is in trouble for posession of illegal drugs. Good thing that happened after the last Jay and Silent Bob film, huh.

I wouldn't say I've met anyone famous, but when I was in seventh grade I did share the same math class with Cody McMains. He guest-starred in some episodes of Everwood, and appeared in "Not Another Teen Movie." (His acting credits at IMDB.com)

I've never seen this! Where's the proof?

~We saw Kobe Bryant at Disneyland in 1998 and one of the Disney managers/show people bumped into the one video camera in the sea of guest paparrazi as Kobe Bryant was exiting the Haunted Mansion. Guess who was holding the one video camera...[cough] Escapay [cough]...lol.

~Oprah was at our local Wal Mart...

~Whacko Jacko look-a-like at Mann's Chinese Theatre (or whatever the heck its called now)

~The Elvis guy Escapay mentioned at Disney CA Adventure

~Otto Von Aerlop (sp?)- a "celebrity director" at MGM Studios.

~I met Vai Sicahema (sp??) at school (he is a good friend of my teacher/club advisor). He played on a major league football team and is now a major sports news anchor. Oh! And a weatherwoman on abc news who also happens to go to Walt Disney World for various holiday reports goes to our church!...oops, sorry. Forgot the previous 2 don't count...

Awesome, karlsen! Is he really scary? I'd imagine he would be.

I got a letter from Jason Marsden (Adult Kuvo from Simba's Pride, Haku from Spirited Away) and Tracy M. Lee (Supervising Animator for young Nala)

Not everyone considers these people to be celebrities.

The closest celebrity I've even gotten remotely close to was at a concert seeing Sloan, Sum 41, and Gob. Even though you said not to include this, it's truely the closest I've ever been. At a local shopping mall, I drove right past Sarah Daniels, the traffic lady on the morning news. It's a big deal for me because she was like two feet away, and here in Vancouver, the BCTV Morning News people go and do alomst every big event in th ecity. They're also the most watched in the Lower Mainland. Anyways, I've never actually met a star, but if I either become a director or animator, my dream is that I will either meet George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Lloyd, Kelsey Grammar, Matt Groening, Dick Van Dyke, or Roy Disney. I wouldn't mind meeting the cast of Friends/Cheers or Taxi while I'm at it.
