Definetly post RC, there arent enough pics of him online that Ive seen. Ive seen like 2 max, not counting offifical promo pics.

I'm trying to decide which of the expensive ones to buy next. I'll be selling my original DS, so that combined with the 50 I already have I think I can afford one expensive one, and maybe the proper soldiers or aliens. Because of Rex's lockjaw I'm not too excited about him anymore, so Im leaning on RC right. though I didn't realize he was around 60-70 in stores until recently. Or I can wait and get Mr potatohead next month.

Also, I think I'd like to buy a new Woody, and sell my current one. There's some annoying access paint on one of his eyes that I dont think I can safely remove without removing paint I want to keep. :( it looks like one of his eyes has eye liner on his lower eye lidbecause of it. Wish I had a real life Jerry to fix him up.

Do we know for sure if Potato Head is coming next month? I think we would have heard something by now, something tells me they're saving him + Hamm for the spring line with Jessie.

Yes, we do. He'll be out by black friday (if all goes as planned). He was supposed to be out by now, but got delayed due to the voice features not working correctly. its been fixed and he should start popping up in the next few weeks. Hamm is rumored to release then too.

I was shopping today and saw the COA bucket o' Soldiers at Target, so I picked it up! A COA toy for 12.99, I couldn't resist! They had an area for the COA Buzz, but it was just full of non COA Buzz. I did see the COA RC there though, in the area with the big remote control stuff. Anyway, got Rex and the soldiers now, 4 to go... I really wish they'd make Zurg.

Edit: I had a bit of money in my paypal account (just enough, actually) and just discovered you can use Paypal on Toysrus.com, so I just ordered the alien 3 pack from there! Woohoo! I really hope I am able to get Buzz and Woody before they are scarce in my area though. I'm sure they will be impossible to find by black friday. Would be nice if I could get RC too, but that may be too much in such a short span of time. And if Hamm and Potato Head are out by then... But maybe they won't be as pricey... They soldier bucket was a really nice price!

I'll have to post some pics of RC later! I didn't realize they were in such high demand
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Heres where it came from.

I know its not official, but the guy seems to be in the know based on his other posts. Sounds like he works for or with a packaging plant or something.

And nice shots rexcrk. Out of focus, but its cool to see different angles and whatnot.

I really like the pictures of RC, but I really do not want to shell out that much money for it, despite me being a big Pixar fan (hence my name).

He does seem over priced, but if it helps at all, its huge if you see it in person. The only thing that kinda bugs me about him aside from the lack of turbo on the remote is the fact that he needs the 5th wheel to turn, its just so lame. Why couldn't they make the front wheels turn? Im guessing its so he can turn more sharply, but it just feels like there should be a better way of doing it.

Mr. Potatoe the standard Playskool one I had was perfect I dunno why you would pay 50 dollasr for a new one.

Because it looks nothing like the character in the movie. if you just want a mr potatoehead, fine, but if you want the closest thing to the actual toy depicted in the movie, and a huge toy story fan, you'll get this one.
also, he has electronic features and can shoot his parts out. (though personally I could do without them)

Andy2010, that list seems possible, except we already know Jessie is supposed to be in wave 2. and rumor has it Hamm will be out next month as part of the first wave. (along with Mr. potatohead) I also don't see them releasing peep, since she's not a toy but a lamp.

and they would never pack wheezy with etch, the two don't even go together.

I was really streching on the wheezy/etch one lol.

I thought that Jessie is set to come out in March, not necessarily in wave 2??? Do you know for sure that she is in wave 2??

They HAVE to make Bo Peep they could make her in a glossy plastic, I have waited 14 years for a Movie accurate Bo Peep!!! She is such a part of Toy Story!!!

Would anyone on this forum buy a Toy Story Collection Bo Peep????

I'd buy a Bo Peep.

And I would so love a proper-scale Lenny! As long as he was wind-up like in the movie and the original Buerger King toy. That'd be awesome.

You know who else we need?! Mr. Mike, that robot, and that snake! They could definitely make a good authentic Mr. Mike.

Is the Toy Story Etch really different from the real one? I don't know if they'd bother doing Etch... Anyway, I would definitely buy a Bo Peep. She IS an important character and I'd hope to see her as the full lamp, though maybe detatchable. I don't think the fact that she's a lamp and not a toy would stop them from making some version of her, even if it IS a lamp, since these I think are made more with collectors in mind.

By the way, heads up! The Toys R Us Big Book comes out this Sunday, if I understand correctly, and their are 10 dollars off your 100 dollar purchase coupons on the front, and the Buzz and Woody's are advertised as down $10 (from 49.99 to 39.99). Also reduced are the interactive Buzz and Woody pair. They are also offering free gift cards for certain purchases, including Disney movies! And they have an exclusive Muppets Christmas Carol/Muppets: Letters to Santa DVD release! Interesting stuff! I just wish Halloween wasn't leaving me near broke! I was just hoping to have enough left to get some clearance Peanuts Halloween figures there!
Here's the Big Book though:

So, the Burger King Lenny isn't all that accurate? I thought he was pretty close. Well, in that case I do hope they make him. Would like a proper version of the spider-baby too, ha. And I'm a bit confused on all the different sizes of RC lately. Only one size has the COA, right? I only want the proper one.

I still have my Woody Burger King puppet that I think was pretty darn accurate

Still it's great that you hardcore collectors are getting such thought put into your toys! I hope they have Slinky Dog he's my favorite haha

I think if they do make a bo peep, it'll be a cheaper less accurate version. similar to the doll version that came out already in the 90s. Dolls are more marketable than plain ol lamps. I know these are being marketed for collectors, but as we can tell by Rex's lack of articulation, woody's toothy grin VS the more dead expression, all the unnecessary electronic features their still focused on kids. I do hope I'm wrong, and I would buy it (admittedly if would be near the bottom of my list of toys from this line), but Lamps aren't typically on kid's Christmas lists.

As for Mic, I think it would be kind of odd to release a cassette player/recorder in this day and age. If they did it it would probably include some kind of MP3 function, built in karaoke tracks and such. not sure if the cassette part would actually function or not, could just be for looks.

So both Buzz and Woody will be $80 together. Then there is the coupon on the very back for a $10 Gift Card when you spend $75 or more. Plus, the free Toy Story backpack.

$70 is a VERY tempting price for both toys. I'm really nervous whether to act or not because there is a tiny glint of chance there will be some leftover toys on Black Friday for me to get at an even better deal.
