Disney is known for providing entertainment for all age groups. Teens are no different. Having said that, I won't see this until it hits the Blockbuster Favorites shelf.

BURBANK, Calif., April 2, 2004 – Walt Disney Home Entertainment presents
CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN, on Disney DVD and VHS on

hilarious comedy with attitude tells the story of a teenage plucked from the city she loves
and plunked down in the wilds of suburban New Jersey.
On DVD, CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN includes the bonus
materials: Confessions From The Set; “Eliza’s Fantasy” deleted scene; Lindsay Lohan

Clothes. Music. Friends. Each is a minefield in every teenager’s daily battle – one

the highest drama?
Such is life for Lola Cep. Lola feels her life is simply not worth living when she moves
with her family from every single thing on the planet that she loves (read: the Big Apple)
and is plunked down in the middle of the cultural wasteland that is suburban New Jersey.
As she juggles making new friends at a new school while standing up to a new rival, Lola
finds it hard enough just to live her life, let alone remember how important it is to live her
dream. So much drama. So little time!
CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN also stars Adam Garcia
(“Kangaroo Jack”), Glenne Headley (TV’s “ER”), Alison Pill (“Pieces of April”), Eli
Marienthal (“American Pie 2”) and Carol Kane (“Love In The Time of Money”).

Who's going to buy this DVD? Not me.
CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN is Disney worst live action film ever.
They should really take it out as a 2-Disc. :x

This has had pretty poor reviews here (it has just come out this week, with very little or no fanfare).

However, I might pick it up simply because Lohan is always good value, and there is a Dandy Warhols connection :)

Plus, it actually looks like a fairly spiffy DVD for something that was a blockbuster.

Thanks for the info,Luke...

The press release isn't specific, but the UD.com front page points out that Amazon is advertising it as such (I know that is not really confirmation, but let us hope so...).

Even so, as a single disc it looks pretty good.

It looks like they are giving it a "Freaky Friday" like release. I saw the film in theaters and I really liked it. I read the book and felt the movie was better because of Lindsay Lohan and the book didn't have a feel good ending. I think that "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" is worth you $3.00 rental fee.

I'm so disappointed. I saw "Confessions" and immediately though "...of an Ugly Stepsister." :(

Prince Adam,
I would also like for "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" to be released on DVD. I missed the begining when it aired, but that was a great movie.

I missed the beginning, too! I saw it from the point of Margarethe, Ruth, and...oh, I can't remember the main character's name....IRIS! Right?
Anyway, I saw it from the point that they moved in with the "Master".

I'm sure I only missed a few minutes, but I would have liked to here if their was any opening narration, with a bit of backstory on the three.

Oh wow I wasn't even aware that "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" was made into a movie. I read the book and loved it. I love all of Gregory Maguire's books, especially "Wicked." When did the movie come out?

It aired on "The Wonderful World Of Disney" in 2002 I believe. It was part of some princess series they had to hype up "Cinderella 2." I remember they also played Hallmark's "Snow White" and the original "Cinderella," wich is weird that they will play it on TV, but make us wait so long for a DVD release.

Have you seen it? I haven't, but I'm just wondering.

I didn't seen "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" but the concept sounds awesome (even if it does seem to be borrowed from the Stinky Cheese Man book). I want to read this book and the one about the Wicked Witch of the West really badly (I will when I get the time), and I'd like to see the movies/plays too. :)

No, I have not seen it but I saw previews and I know it's not good.

I know you've heard this plenty before, as you always say that, lol... but I don't think that's very fair. Previews are not always reliable, and you can't make a fair assessment of a film based off of 50 seconds of various snapshots and clips thrown together. "Worst Disney live-action film ever" is a hefty charge, and I think you should actually see it... and ALL the others too... before you say that.

I found this to be true with "Hellboy." The trailors showed the worst one liners in the film, making it not look very good. If it wasn't for the comic, I wouldn't have seen it, and it ended up being awsome.

I have seen "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" and it was pretty decent. I don't think it will be remembered ten years down the road, but the movie was better than the book and it is worth a viewing. There were some really funny parts. This movie is geared towards girls in their tweens, but there is something that everyone can enjoy.

Luke has posted cover and disc art and I am disapointed in both. The cover art is the same as the movie poster, which was cool for a movie poster, but not as cover art for the DVD. I can think of several ways they could have edited the cover art. Heowever, I am not as disapointed with the cover art being the same as I am with the disc art. It is a pink backgroung with Lindsay Lohan in a pink dress blowing a pink bubble with bubble gum. How much more can they discriminate guys from wanting to watch this movie? I know that the target audience is gearls in their tweens, but still.
