Oh I thought the coupon only worked on the 2-Disc version. Sorry about that.blackcauldron85 wrote:It's okay, Alex- thank you for the thought, though! Dave actually scanned it and emailed it for me!
I'm on a very limited budget, so I'm just getting the 1-disc for $10.99 and saving the extra money towards something else. Toys R Us has the cheapest Blu-ray, and even with the $10 off coupon, it'd still be $14.99. Thanks for the advice, though!JDCB1986 wrote:$10 off the Blu-ray is a better deal than $5 off the DVD...
And you still get a DVD + digital copy of the film.
So why not save yourself $2 more and get a free Blu-ray too.
I had forgotten that Best Buy does price matching, but Target opens an hour earlier anyway, so I'm off to Target once I'm done with breakfast and I hope they'll take the online coupon. If not, either off to Toys R Us or to Best Buy for price matching.

I was kinda disappointed with the amount of bonus features. 2 bonus songs and a 15 minutes featurette are ok, but there's tons of other stuff they could've filled that empty space with. Examples? Demi Lovato opened with a 9-song set. There are still other songs they performed that aren't included. There's most likely more behind-the-scenes footage. But whatever, I'm just complaining. Haha.

I think the challenge is that the Blu-Ray features two copies of the movie in High Definition, so there wasn't a ton of room for bonuses. However, they could have put them on the DVD version which would also come with the Blu-Ray, therefore everyone would have them who wanted them.
Hannah Montana's bonus features were minimal as well (a documentary and two bonus songs) for the same reason, but in that case there were two versions of the film on both the DVD and the Blu-Ray.

They should've put the extra features on the Bonus DVD since it only had the 2D version.goofystitch wrote:I think the challenge is that the Blu-Ray features two copies of the movie in High Definition, so there wasn't a ton of room for bonuses. The thing about the Hannah Montana DVD was that they could've skipped putting the Fool Screen versions on the DVDs and used the 2nd disc for bonus features and putting a 2nd disc with the Blu-ray.

Australia gets a 3 DVD boxset... including the 3D experience.

Looks like there's no Australian Blu-ray though...
