Its odd lately how certain shops dont have the slipcovers but others do. :?

Im gonna check before i buy a new disney dvd if it has one or not, i dont want to have to go accidently dropping slipcovers into my bag again!

I just caught up on some of the oversees packaing and covers and some are absolutely stunning! I want to take a trip to England again just to pick up a few and go to Europe to pick up one or two. My friend is pretty lucky, she's going to Europe in two months and she could pick one of thse up. Hmm I have an idea. :)

And don't forget the beautiful UK Narnia wardrobe box (ok it's not a Disney Classic, but awesome package)

This thread makes me HATE Disney US for their shoddy DVD cover art and unspectacular packaging. ESPECIALLY the Snow White and BATB sets. The UK versions are so much more amazing.

sorry for raising this thread from the dead but i would die for R1 Lion King set like this :)
it makes me sad because i don't have any of the Lion King movies on DVD, only on VHS. I was a little young when they were released on dvd, so i did not buy them. Every time i am at a store, i always stray over to the movie isles to see if i can pick up any great deals or OOPs.

Anyway i'm getting sad lol...just wanted to say thanks for sharing those pictures, they are absolutely gorgeous. I wonder though if you have any more to add since your last post? Or anyone for that matter. I'm very curious to see other region's dvd packaging.

Still no definite Snow WhiteBlu Ray/DVD release date for UK!

Post by Deco King »

The Walt Disney Company has still not confirmed a release date for the Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs Blu Ray/DVD other than to say it should be around the 26th of October!!! I look forward to seeing what the Cover Art will be like for the UK release!
