To be honest, I can't believe Voldemort's on the lists now. He was an okay villain, but not a "great" one--not even within the Harry Potter series (that award would go to either Severus Snape or Dolores Umbridge). And Harry would be nowhere near the Heroes list at all.

Some of the villians that made the list were of no surprise to me (Hannibal Lecter, Darth Vader, The Joker, etc) but some (Mr Burns, Annie Wilkes, Voldemort) were kind of a shock to see on the list.
As for the Heroes list, again some were of no surprise (Indiana Jones, Han Solo, Spider-Man, Batman), but none of the heroes on the list took me by surprise as opposed to the villians.
