Scariest: Dumbo.... Pink elephants on Parade freaked me out as a kid! LOL

Favorite: Aladdin.... I still want to BE Aladdin! Love the story, the songs, the art, the magic, the action, the characters, love everything!

Saddest: The Lion King.... the death of Mufasa was so sad!

However,
Most Overrated: The Lion King. Why do so many call this the "King of all animated movies", etc? I've seen better.

Most Underrated: Ducktales the Movie! LOL. This is such a great movie, I just love it.

Most Annoying Character: Snow White. I'm sorry, I just don't like her.

Most Awesome: Sleeping Beauty... the story could be a bit better I suppose, but the artwork is amazing and I love the characters. I love Aurora, the fairies crack me up, and of course MALEFICENT! This movie gives me chills every time I watch it!

Scariest - Pinocchio. I remember being terrified of it when I first saw it as a kid.

Funniest - The Emperor's New Groove. Isn't there anything on this menu that isn't swimming in gravy?!

Saddest - Tie between Dumbo and The Fox And The Hound. Baby Mine and the scene where Widow Tweed leaves Tod always make me tear up.

Strangest - Tron. A few good decent Disney film from the 80s that after now seeing, I quite enjoy. Just when I had heard that Disney had made a film about a man being sucked into a computer to fight a villain, I thought it was the strangest idea for them. :p

Most Heartwarming - Mary Poppins. At the end of the film, I always feel fuzzy inside seeing Mr Banks showing the repaired kite to Jane and Michael, and the family then off singing to the park together.

Most Exciting - Swiss Family Robinson. After seeing the film, I have to agree with Albert in that it's one of the most compelling of the Disney live action titles. With the lost tropic island setting, shipwreck, pirates, wild animal encounters, and a paradise tree house, it's just all the elements of a classic adventure film together.

Most Overrated - The Jungle Book. I've constantly heard this praised as Disney's best and one of his greatest films ever, and after seeing it, I wasn't that impressed. It has very good characters, but I think that's the problem for me. Too many characters, not a strong enough thread of a plot to tie them together. Kaa and Shere Kahn appear in two scenes, but other than that, all the other characters just seem to come and go so quickly, some having no effect on the plot whatsover. I personally think Alice In Wonderland handled the episodic nature better, and I cared more for Alice's personality than I did for Mowgli.

Most Underrated - The Rescuers. It's a shame this one is often overlooked or swept under the rug by Disney.

Favorite - Sleeping Beauty. Everything about it to me intrigues and I regard it as one of Disney's best. I enjoy that the story and narrative of the plot is mostly strict and focuses on the main characters. The animation of the characters and the backgrounds are both at the top of their game, and the soundtrack is a lovely work of orchestration. The characters to me are extremely vivid as well with Maleficent, the humor and charm of the fairies, and Phillip's gentle and humorus nature and bravery that was absent from the first two princes. To me the only weakness really is Aurora, yet I still find her a charming character in her own right thanks to Mary Costa's voice.

Least Favorite - Pocahontas. The animation style is wonderful, but it seems I did not care for any of the characters in the film other than Pocahontas herself. I didn't care that much for the songs either, and Meeko and Flit just got really annoying to me after a while.

Funniest: Emperor's New Groove - I don't need to explain, seeing as this is the fave among UD-ers in this category

Scariest: Pinocchio
Escapay wrote: Scariest: Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983) & Pinocchio (1940) - ...You are genuinely surprised and terrified throughout the films, rather than cackling and laughing at the intended-horror-turned-unintended-comedy.
Hey "bro" of mine, you laughed at me the other night when I told you that Pinocchio scares me. And yet you admit here that it scares you too? Dude!

Anyways, a lot of the movie scared me as a kid: Honest John creeped me out w/ his "stalkerish" and tempting ways. Stromboli scared me cause of his mean-ness and glowing red face, and then the parts where all the kids turning into donkeys at "Pleasure Island" and then, as if all that wasn't enough, the main characters are all swallowed alive by a huge ass whale.

Because of Pinocchio, the first time my family visited Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney (you know, walk through just to get from one end to the other), I had to ask my Dad three times if he was sure that I wouldn't turn into a donkey. Yes, I was a scared and gullible, young child.

Anyhoo, back to the list:

Saddest: Fox and the Hound - for the same reasons people posted earlier

Favorite: The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Lilo and Stitch - TLM was the first Disney movie I completely enjoyed and laughed at as a kid, I even sang "Part of Your World" nonstop, much to Scaps' and Kram's dismay. Aladdin was the first Disney movies I saw in theaters. Jasmine kicks ass and Aladdin is one of the hottest animated heroes ever. And, as for Lilo, well, it's so darn cute and adorable, surfing and Elvis is incorporated into it, and there's the fact that I'm a sucker for destructible, cute, fluffy aliens

Hey "sis" of mine, if you read my entire thing, you'd see I'm discussing the atmosphere of the film and how it surprises and terrifies its audience. NEVER about how I was scared by it as a kid! So "Nyah Nyah Nyah" to you. :P

OMG...

Sorry, Jane. I just had to laugh.

But, if it makes you feel better, I remember crying a lot more than you did when we first rode Haunted Mansion.

And you're so cheap you have yet to get the DVD. Probably because Kram and I both have a copy and you can just go bother us whenever you wanna watch it. :P

First off, as for me being a gullible, dumb ass child, i rotfl at myself too. I don't know why I believed it.

And you cried on Haunted Mansion?! Hahaha I don't remember that. And now I wish I did.

Funniest: The Ugly Dachshund - This may be a dog-lover's opinion only. :-) Especially the party. And I know it's not PC, but the Chinese man yelling "Rion! Rion!" gets me giggling every time. Also best use of Dean Jones. :-)

Scariest: Return to Oz - Definitely not MGM's Oz. The electroshock business is actually the creepiest, but also Mombi, and the Gnome King...great stuff for Halloween.

Saddest: Old Yeller - [cries just thinking about ending]

Most Heartwarming: Follow Me Boys - pure corn and I love every minute of it.

Least Favorite: Aladdin, Pocahontas, Jungle Book - ::snore::

Favorites: Gallegher (the city ones especially), Dr. Syn, Horse Without a Head, Old Yeller, Pollyanna, Kilroy

Wait, isn't Pleasure Island is only for adults? I remember it saying it has dance clubs and bars where children aren't allow in.

I don't blame you. When I first went in, those pictures that roll their eyes at you up close scares shit out of me.

I also agree Pinocchio is by far the darkest and creepiest.
This image below just proves that kids will pee in their pants at the sight of it.

Funniest: The Little Mermaid - I like the humor of the pre-Aladdin Disney movies. While Aladdin and The Lion King are both great Disney films, they're a little over the top for me.

Scariest: Snow White - The Queen really scared me when I was a child, especially the scene where she changes into the hag. I still think it's the scariest Disney movie. Maleficent was also pretty scary and Ariel's father scared me the first time I saw The Little Mermaid (Ursula not so much.) None of them scare me now.

Saddest:
Dumbo - Baby Mine
Bambi - When his mother dies.
The Lion King - When Mufasa dies.
All of these make me tear up.

Favorite: The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty.

After 9pm you had to be a certain age to get in. from 7-9 you could bring the kids. It doesn't matter now as the place no longer exists (to be replaced with more generic shopping).

And that pic is freaky.

Funniest:It depends on how you look at it. If you want like laugh out loud funny then I go with Aladdin. But if you want dark humor then Hunchback of Notre Dame hands down. I personally like dark humor better.

Scariest: Hunchback of Notre Dame. When I first watched Hunchback I was creeped out. There are no happy fun parts in it. All of it is dark and serious with scary parts like Hellfire and Bells of Notre Dame.

Saddest: There are a lot but I have to go with Hunchback of Notre Dame again. In the first five minutes 3 people are arrested, 1 is killed, 1 has God looking at him through statues, and 1 is locked in a bell tower for the rest of his life. There are no uplifting parts in this. It is a sad fest from the very beginning. Bambi and Lion King are close behind though.

Favorite: Hunchback of Notre Dame is my favorite movie of all time not just Disney all time. It has dark humor, great visuals, and it takes itself seriously. It has my favorite character(Frollo) my favorite villain(Frollo) my favorite song(Hellfire) my favorite scene (Hellfire, and final battle scene) my favorite Disney Heroine (Esmeralda) Favorite score, Favorite everything

Most Underated: You should know by now it starts with a H

Funniest- Aladdin, thanks to Genie and Iago.

Scariest- The Hunchback of Norte Dame because it's very realistic.

Saddest- The Lion King for Mufasa's death alone.

Favorite- Aladdin. I love everything about it. It has my favorite hero, princess, villain, songs, animation, and characters.
Say no to moldy, disgusting crackers!
