Just Myself , I don't know maybe that's just my computer, but when I click on the link to your wishlist the site with my own wishlist comes up. Is that normal or is the link wrong? :?

Dottie, I think I put the wrong URL in the link. Is my list showing up correctly now? It shouldn't be taking you to your list, unless I messed up the URL. Thanks for the heads up and please let me know if it's proper now.

I think it is, at least it's not my list anymore.
I love looking at other people's lists, so clicked on yours and I thought I should tell you that the one that showed up was not yours. I don't really think you'd want the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack :P

There, I compiled a list at Amazon. Nothing's in any order - it should be sorted by ABCs. I just added stuff as I thought of it.

Someone let me know if it doesn't work - I've never done an Amazon wishlist before so I wasn't sure how to link to it

Not really my cup o'tea. ;) If the wishlist is for Christopher Bowden in Oviedo, FL, then it's definitely my wishlist. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on Earth who says the Stranger Than Fiction SE Blu-ray is a high priority wishlist item. :P

Not yet, though I did get a reply from Leonard Maltin after I sent a praising e-mail for the latest batch of Treasures. He appreciated my enthusiastic and kind words, and that they're already working on next year's sets, but Song of the South is not included. Poo.

Anyway, as is tradition, every post I make in the Wishlist Thread must have a Secret Santa letter from me, so...

Dear Secret Santa,

My letter is coming, I promise! But I just had to  at Just Myself's post about Stranger Than Fiction. Anyway, to add some fun stuff, I'll bring back the offensive lace collar...

Image

The mention of mashed potatoes...

MASHED POTATOES ARE AWESOME!

And a hint of my Wish List:

Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald, Volume Three 1947 to 1950 - if it's within a reasonable price range. But the color, size, and boldness should be an indication how much I really really want this. :P

Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest - it's the animated version of Doctor Who! And it's only $10 SRP!

Storybook Tales Collection (BCI/Eclipse) - the things I do for Happily Ever After: Collector's Edition. I don't really care for the other two movies in the boxset, but it's the only way to get HPE.

Okay, I'll be back later with a more detailed letter. But I don't know if I can get mashed potatoes in there again, unless it's a throwaway sentence like "I like The Golden Girls, but not as much as I like mashed potatoes." And even that would be a lie. I think I'd prefer Golden Girls over mashed potatoes.

Your Secret Cindy Lou Who,
albert

It's not hate, it's just "really, someone would put it as high priority?" I liked the movie too.

Dear Secret Santa,

Again, JM's post has me making a visit here again. So...

Mashed potatoes.

Doctor Who is awesome.

And so is Merlin.

Well, The Dark Knight or Wall-e would be High priority on there if I hadn't already gotten them preordered. StF is a film I love that I don't own (parents bought the DVD copy, so it stays here when I move out) and the holidays are gonna involve buying a lot of gifts for family and friends. So I splurged and got the two top priority movies preordered and decided to put the other three (which are Stf, Tropic Thunder and the Casino Royale SE) I'd wanted on my wishlist. :)

Cheers,

P.S. Dear Secret Santa,

Mashed potatoes.

There, I saved Escapay an obligatory reference by doing it myself. :P

For some reason, Outlook Express is not sending my messages. I tested this in the afternoon and nothing. So due to this my sign up e-mail got lost and we realized this too late.

I'm cool, though. Everyone have fun! :)

I always feel weird asking for things. That being said ... I actually came up with a decent amount of things I wouldn't mind owning this year!

Books:

Make Me Real by Dare Wright
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

The Lonely Doll Makes New Friends: A Story In The Dare Wright Tradition
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

The Disney Theme Park Songbook: Remember the Magic
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

The Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

DVDs:

Marie Antoinette
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

Favorite Etsy.com items:

Colonial Necklace
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?li ... d=16786820

Mermaid Pendant
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?li ... d=17050124

Bluebird Bracelet
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?li ... d=16475963

Kitten Bracelet
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?re ... d=16479029

Bluebird Bobby Pins
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?li ... d=15525512

As you can tell, my tastes are pretty eclectic. I love the color pink and things that either are vintage, or convincingly made to look so. Unique novelty tees are always fun gifts, and should you find just the right one, I am a juniors size large, and a normal adult size medium.

Oh, and the Alice in Wonderland clock that Kelvin linked to looks absolutely fabulous. I have already come up with a few spots in my place where it would look quite nice. So, if you have 90 bucks to burn, go for it!

Thank you thank you thank you! :tink:

Good golly! I forgot that it was not out yet in the US! I got it in February of 2005! True, it was delayed in Canada for another month and a half but a few copies slipped through at THAT time. I can't imagine how hard it must have been to wait almost four YEARS while we had months. Does anyone know why we in the great white north did not have much or any of the legal woes of the film and not you Americans? North America's DVD releases puzzle me at times....and I'm part of the place. :P

All 29 assignment e-mails have been sent. Being that it is now after 3 AM, I fear that fatigue may have reared its ugly head. If anything looks odd about your e-mail, send me an e-mail at my address below (and in the body of the assignment message) and I'll take a look at it.

If you haven't gotten your assignment e-mail and your name is on the list I posted on Page 1, go ahead and send me an e-mail too and I'll try getting it to you. I'm sure some filters may incorrectly mark it as spam, as spam filters often do.
