Nooooooo!!! I thought you would have gone for that idea. (Any thing to stop you doing harry potter!) That is such a shame as I am A born again christian & would have loved to see you do your magic on a drawing such as this.
May I ask, what religion are you?
I'm Muslim.

If it's of any comfort, I changed my mind: I don't think I'll be doing Harry Potter (drawings, that is :P ), it would look monotonous with all of them wearing robes :) .

Yessssss!!! I am so happy to hear you say that. but what are you going to do, any ideas?
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9. 2 Timothy ch2 v 19, “ Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness”.

I don't know, it would have to be something colorful and with a wide variety of characters to choose from. :)

He's more a Square Enix character. Since it was created by Square Enix.

How about Disney characters as historical figures. Plenty of colorful people to choose from in that respect.

That's a really good idea, Siren!

Disney characters dressing as Peanuts characters just popped into my head, but I don't know if it's a good idea...?

I looked. No where does it says so as you claimed it to be. Unless you provide a link. Fact of the matter is, Nomura created Sora, Riku, Kairi, hence the idea that he's more a Square Enix original.

Look here:
http://disney.go.com/disneyinteractives ... s_original
Four new major DISNEY characters (Sora,Riku,Kairi and the Heartless debut
Disney should use him more.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi are disney characters in same sense that Geno is a Mario character(but owned by Square Enix as well), but still Square Enix owns them.

and therefor Square Enix 's original characters. PERIOD. Those characters are copyrighted by Square Enix, not Disney.

Ariel'sprince, they're Square Enix characters. Now stop trying to debate what's true.

Square Enix owns the characters. They are COPYRIGHTED by them. Just because you only like the Disney Company doesn't mean they own everything.

I've never played any of the KH games so I don't know much about those characters. I could find pictures of them online, but without much knowledge of their personalities and characteristics they would look kind of randomly dressed in Disney clothes (not that it hasn't happened before :D )
Siren wrote:How about Disney characters as historical figures. Plenty of colorful people to choose from in that respect.
True that  Though I was thinking of something like Disney Pokémon :)

It is! I'll probably have to educate myself more on those characters, it's been quite a while since I've seen any Snoopy film or read comics.

Oh, if anyone else wants to try any of these things, be my guest!

You really are a ***************aren't ya? Just admit you are wrong. No where did it ever said Disney copyrighted Sora, etc

It's the same deal with Geno. He's a mario character but is own by Square Enix, not Nintendo.

Since Nomura created Sora, Org 13 etc, they belong to him and Square Enix regardless if they appeared in a game with Disney.

You just don't get it, do you?

*Sigh...

Its sad when people resort to insults and stubbornness to try and get a point across.

Sprince, In the past you have been warned about the "I am right you are wrong" behavior since it just annoys people and the debate goes to Hell right away.

The original KH characters are copyrighted by BOTH companies. Disney can't freely use them without consulting Square-Enix, and S-E can't use them without asking Disney permission. Kingdom Hearts is a JOINT project between two companies, which mean that both have a say on the project.

So yes, Sora is a Disney character, but he is also a S-E character. Rather than just seeing him as either of those, why don't see him as the great and fun character that he is?

I feel like I've been agreeing with and applauding people more than ever here lately, but , pap64- I'm glad you wrote that.

We don't need to resort to name-calling. People have disagreements, and maybe people can just agree to disagree.
