Really? Wow! That sounds cool, next time I decide to watch "Beauty and the Beast", I'll be sure to watch out for that, how interesting.

Yup, the skulls in his eyes are there and is confirmed by the filmmakers during the audio commentary. You have to watch the film frame by frame to see it, though.
Thanks for the info, Disneykid! That makes sense 'cause I was looking for it in the old vhs version. Silly me, I should have realized it'd only be viewable on frame by frame.

Wow... I just saw it too. Great things Disney hides in their movies.Anyway, I think the best Disney death is Frollo's. It so cool because he says:

"And He shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery bit"

And so He did.

Maleficent's death is really cool too.

Maybe it is just because I love Fantasmic, but I had to go with Hook.

For humourous demises, Edgar in the Aristocrats was tops.

I always thought Jafar's lamp imprisonment was extremely creative, it's so funny seeing him being tricked.

Sorry to bump such an old topic, but I can't not vote!

I think the best death of a villain was Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I get chills everytime I watch that part.

It's a tie between Jafar's imprisonment and Shan-Yu's firework demise. Ursula's was okay, too. As was Scar's. It isn't so much the deaths themselves that, but the situations leading up to them. Jafar, Ursula and Scar's endings were all of their own doing (with Jafar being the best of all because it doubly represents Aladdin's quick wit). Shan-Yu's death was creative, though it went a little too quick.

Based on the situation and film, Lady Tremaine's comeuppance is really good as well. It really leaves the audience with a sense of satisfaction. The only two up there that I think could've been better is Frollo and Shere Kahn's.

But you never really SEE the comeuppance of lady Tremaine and her two daugthers. After the scene where the shoe fits Cinderella, they just dissapear.

By the way, I voted for Frollo's death-scene. It was hard to choose because that of Clayton was brilliant as well; but Frollo was a more convincing villain and everything leading up to this end was pretty exiting.

Wow, this poll creeped me out! I didn't realize how much death, and violent deaths, are in the Disney films. I know I saw Tarzan but can't even remember Clayton's death...maybe it freaked me out?
