Best death/demise of a villain *SPOILERS*

Post by jambo*rafiki »

Joe Carioca gave me this idea (thanks Joe! :D ) Vote for your favorite demise of a Disney animated villain. I wrote down some key words to help you remember. I'm sure I've forgotten a ton . . . oh well.

I voted Clayton, because it still gives me the shivers. Sid gets a close second.

I'll vote for Clayton hanging himself! It is very intense and has great impact!

I also like Scar getting eaten by his pals and them consumed by the fire! Creepy!!! :D

Hmm, how can you forget Helga's (my babe! ) demise? Hehehe, I love her personal revenge at the end ("Nothing personal"). It is a shame the baloon in flames had to fall over her, and then her body was consumed by the lava. :P

And other creative demise was Hades (literaly) going dow the toilet.

I'm sorry! I only did the ones I was thinking of at the moment, and I'm going to try to edit it.

Well, the whole "villian falls from a high distance" thing has been tremendously over-used. But since it was the original, the Evil Queen's death in Snow White, is overall probably the best.

But when the croc chases Hook, it cracks me up every time.

I voted for Scar, though I was leaning towards Clayton. However I must protest a little bit. The two best deaths were left off this list.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shan-Yu getting launched by the fireworks in Mulan certainly has to be up there.

And

Rorke getting crystalized and smashed into tiny pieces by the helicopter blade in Atlantis.

It's not really a death he does return in "Return of Jafar". :P

My favorie death of a Villain was Frollo's death. It was just so cool how he fell into the fire off of the church. I thought his death was the best. :o

Best Villain

The Best Villain to me was in Return From Witch Moutain!

They didn't actually die!

But I loved it when Tony and Tia levitated Dr.Victor Gannon(Christopher Lee), Letha (Bette Davis), and Sickle (Anthony James) to that big metal beam up in the air! It was so funny when Letha said Victor I have lost my faith in science completely!

don't forget Sykes death when the truck hit him ;)

I know they're sidekicks, but Roscoe and Desoto being electrocuted scard me when I was younger :o .

I wonder if Shere Khan is really dead in Jungle book 2 .. I mean he didn't fall in the lava. but I guess he could climb up that cliff thingy .. 8)

Helga's dead? I thought she escaped it somehow :? :P

Definitely Frollo's. It's the most epic and grand to me of all the villain deaths. I think the whole balcony climax of Hunchback is the best climax of any Disney film, with Frollo's death wrapping it up nicely. :D

This thread should come with a spoiler warning. :P

Scar's fiery fall for pure dramatic flair (or should that be 'flare'....fire....geddit? Ah....nevermind...).

I'd definitely have to say Clayton hanging himself on the vines. Surprisingly gruesome considering most villains just fall from some tall height or another.

I heard somewhere that right before Gaston falls in BatB skulls flash in his eyes. Is that just a rumor? I watched for it once and didn't see it, but some people say it's there. Just thought I'd ask since it relates to the topic.

Yup, the skulls in his eyes are there and is confirmed by the filmmakers during the audio commentary. You have to watch the film frame by frame to see it, though.
