I'm very glad that security found the weapons, but I'm shocked- lately the security guards barely look through people's purses/bags...they just take a quick glance and let you go- they don't often go through your things anymore, and it almost makes the security process kind of a waste. But, it is good to know that security did their job in this case.

How can you.....forget......that you have a loaded gun in your purse!?????
Now that's scary!
I'm glad they stopped her from entering the park, but I agree about the lax security and wish the bag-checkers looked a little more thoroughly. After the mall shootings, I would almost rather go through a metal-detector, as sad as that is.

Because hiding facts about a Disney World security story ties into the vast right-wing conspiracy?Super Aurora wrote:I just want to say I hate fox news. so they might not be giving all info we should hear.
If you're doubtful, you could run a quick and easy Google News search to find hundreds of other credible sources reporting exactly the same thing.

Just making sure. Fox News IS nortorious for giving bias information regardless of what the news may be.AwallaceUNC wrote:Because hiding facts about a Disney World security story ties into the vast right-wing conspiracy?Super Aurora wrote:I just want to say I hate fox news. so they might not be giving all info we should hear.

My thoughts exactly. Lately I've been marveling at all the things I could be hiding in my purse (but don't, of course) that they would never find. But, maybe they know something we don't know as far as finding weapons. Who knows.blackcauldron85 wrote:I'm very glad that security found the weapons, but I'm shocked- lately the security guards barely look through people's purses/bags...they just take a quick glance and let you go- they don't often go through your things anymore, and it almost makes the security process kind of a waste. Joke? I was entirely serious. An umbrella is the best weapon of choice if it's something you want to get past security screenings.Jack Skellington wrote:Escapay you made me lol when I read the weapon of choice joke !
