Post by AwallaceUNC »

A woman was arrested today when Walt Disney World security found her attempting to bring a loaded semi-automatic gun, a locked blade knife, and scissors into the Magic Kingdom.

Why the hell would any idiot bring a gun into the Magic Kingdom? Don't they know the best weapon of choice is an umbrella?

I'm very glad that security found the weapons, but I'm shocked- lately the security guards barely look through people's purses/bags...they just take a quick glance and let you go- they don't often go through your things anymore, and it almost makes the security process kind of a waste. But, it is good to know that security did their job in this case.

How can you.....forget......that you have a loaded gun in your purse!?????
Now that's scary!

I'm glad they stopped her from entering the park, but I agree about the lax security and wish the bag-checkers looked a little more thoroughly. After the mall shootings, I would almost rather go through a metal-detector, as sad as that is.

I just want to say I hate fox news. so they might not be giving all info we should hear.

Anyway, I wondering more why a 63 yr old is always carrying weapons with her? And to MK no less is even more puzzling even though she said "she forgot to take it out of her purse".

Because hiding facts about a Disney World security story ties into the vast right-wing conspiracy?

If you're doubtful, you could run a quick and easy Google News search to find hundreds of other credible sources reporting exactly the same thing.

Just making sure. Fox News IS nortorious for giving bias information regardless of what the news may be.

But I now know it's true due to the other sources.

I HOPE YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT ANYONE LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE.

 No, she wants to stop Disney's corruption and aim to take over the world, as well as their taking over children's minds.

My thoughts exactly. Lately I've been marveling at all the things I could be hiding in my purse (but don't, of course) that they would never find. But, maybe they know something we don't know as far as finding weapons. Who knows.

Joke? I was entirely serious. An umbrella is the best weapon of choice if it's something you want to get past security screenings. :P

That is absurd. Why a grown woman would forget she had a loaded gun in her purse is uncalled for. :headshake:

Maybe she didn't forget, though. Who would even carry a loaded gun in their purse to start with, especially at an amusement park?
