Thursday aired another great episode ... It mixed humor and drama perfectly ... It was nice for Cristina to get a little closure on Burke ...

I must say I kinda feel bad for Lexie ... Yes Meredith is damaged because of her past ... but she shouldn't take it out on Lexie ... She is the innocent in this ...

Oh ... and one of my favorite scenes was when Mama Burke spoke to Mere ... too funny!

Oh ... and Callie knows ... I feel so bad for her ... I really like her ... but I am glad that Gizzie is about to explode in everyone's faces ...

I could have sworn that I read where Shonda said that Gizzie wasn't going to happen. Am I dreaming this up, or, did I really read that? I think it was on the Grey's blog.

You read that it was going to fizzle ... and she still says its gonna fizzle ...

If I am not mistaken ... someone is going to find out soon ...

Yup I wasn't mistaken ...

From Michael Ausiello ...
Question: Did Shonda Rhimes mislead everyone? Is she reviving Gizzie instead of killing it? It sure looked that way in the premiere and the preview for this week's episode.— Christine
Ausiello: Oh, Christine. My poor, sweet, naive Christine. You should know by now that those promos only tell half the story. Take it from someone who has seen the entire episode — that's me! — Gizzie is dealt a setback this Thursday when George chooses… um… let's just say he makes an important decision that sets the stage for Episode 3, "Let the Truth Sting." Keep in mind, Shonda strongly hinted that Gizzie wouldn't start to come undone until news of their fling made its way around Seattle Grace. I believe what you witnessed in last week's opener was the snuggle before the s**tstorm.

Thanks, RTD! I kind of figured that's where they were heading, and making it appear another way in the promos. They are really getting good with doing that, lately.

Poor Callie. The life is drained from her. She has no joy, anymore. That glow of happiness, that twinkle in her eye...it's all gone. It's very sad.

Grey's is really, really back. Wonderful episode, right balance of drama and fake emotions....uhhm, comedy.

Lexie and Meredith was great, fighting and the end was so sweet, them going over the case.
Alex is back to his old season 1 self too when he let (not the big one) George's secret slip. Totally Alex. When's Jane Doe/Ava/Rebecca coming back again?
Edward Herrmann was amazing!! He was great on Gilmore and he is such a great actor that you do believe everything he does even as an intern.

I feel so sorry for Callie, it's over, so over. Poor thing.

The most hilarious thing though was Mark and the chief with the tongue.

I agree, Dottie! It was an excellent episode. I truly felt sorry for Callie. She doesn't deserve this. I love the pact that Bailey made with Callie at the end. They do need each other, even if it's just to provide balance. I hope to see a friendship develop between the two.

I was so mad at Alex for being such a jerk. Why did he have to be such a jerk, and tell the interns that George is having to repeat his internship? That wasn't Alex's decision to make, to tell the interns. I really wanted to reach through the television set and strangle him. Yes, he's certainly back to his bad boy ways, which shows he hasn't really learned anything about friendship.

I loved the ending, with Meredith discussing Lexie's mothers case. Hopefully, this will be the first step to them healing, and the beginning of a relationship.

I can't wait until next week. Izzie preparing to fight Callie should be quite funny. I am sure that Callie isn't planning to fight Izzie, but, it would be nice if Callie gave in, and kicked Izzie's butt!

Here's a bit of casting news from TV.com:

Brothers, Grey's get guests
By Tim Surette - TV.com
October 11, 2007 at 11:29:00 AM | more stories by this author

Chevy Chase playing ex-husband on Brothers & Sisters; Seth Green gets laid up in Grey's Anatomy.

Two funnymen from decidedly different generations are taking a more serious acting turn. Former and semicurrent Saturday Night Live cast member Chevy Chase will be joining Brothers & Sisters, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Seth Green will guest star on Grey's Anatomy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

On the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters, Chase will play a former flame of Sally Field's character, Nora Holden. As Stan Hirsh, Nora's high-school boyfriend, the man who played Fletch will join a love triangle also involving a new character played by Danny Glover.

Chase gained fame on the golden years of Saturday Night Live, and went on to star in several respected comedies, including Caddyshack, Fletch, and National Lampoon's Vacation.

Seth Green will appear in a pair of episodes of Grey's Anatomy, ABC's hit medical drama. The actor will play a patient at Seattle Grace. Green is best known as the lycanthrope Daniel Osbourne in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and is also a cocreator of Robot Chicken, as well as the voice of Chris on Family Guy.

Great episode! I'm loving that Dr. Shepherd is not taking any crap from Dr. Yang. Yang is being such a bitch to Lexie, and I'm glad that Dr. Shepherd isn't allowing Yang to treat Lexie like crap.

Izzie is really starting to show how immature she is. It's funny, because Izzie used to be a favorite of mine. Now, she's turned into this child, demanding that George tell Callie about their affair, then changing her mind, before deciding she does want George to tell Callie. Then, George tells Callie, and Callie wants to talk to Izzie, and Izzie turns it into some playground fight. I loved it when Callie said, "You thought I wanted to fight? I just wanted to talk.", and then walked away.

Oh, and Alex. He's such a freaking jerk. I wish George would beat the crap out of him, just to take him down a few pegs.

Good for Callie! I'm glad that she gave it to Izzie straight, and called her a "traitorous bitch." She may not have thrown a punch, but, she kicked Izzie's butt, all the same!

Wow. Derek laid it all out on the line. He wants to marry Meredith. He understands that she's not ready, and he'll wait. However, he told Meredith that he doesn't know what he'll do if he meets someone who is ready.

It was good to see Adele back. It's too sad that Chief Webber's niece will not continue treatment. I understand why she doesn't want to do it. It' just sad that Adele feels that Webber should make her take treatment, when his hands are tied.

Next weeks "Halloween" episode looks fun! I can't wait!

Good Grey's this week.
Izzy is acting so ridiculously!!! She is one of my favorite characters, but she really should pull herself together. And Shonda, please stop Gizzie now!!
I feel so sorry for Callie.
A real fight might have been nice though.

Meredith and Norman as fun as were Cristina, Lexie and McDreamy.

I was almost crying when Derek told Meredith that he wants to marry her and spent the rest of his life with her. So sweet!! I just hope Meredith will be ready soon, at least ready enough to restart the relationship.

Can't wait for next week.

A new episode is airing, right now! The summary from TV.com:

Haunt You Every Day
Episode Number: 66 Season Num: 4 First Aired: Thursday October 25, 2007 Prod Code: 405

It's Halloween at Seattle Grace! There may be jokes, pranks, and/or scare tactics. Some of the women form a club based on an experience they all share. A man volunteers for what most of the doctors believe is an unnecessary surgery. One of the patients is in the hospital because they tried to carve a pumpkin in an unconventional manner. Alex receives a visit from Jane Doe/Ava/Rebecca. Meredith is having mommy issues. Callie has an announcement to make.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's already off to a great start! Meredith is carrying around her mom's ashes, and Callie told Izzie to direct her questions to Dr. Bailey. Dr. Bailey asked why, and Callie said, "Because she's been sleeping with my husband." Oh, snap!

Oh, and some of the nurses have started a club. Nurses Against Sleeping with Mark Sloan, or something to that effect! LOFL!

I don't think I could ever chainsaw my foot off LOL

I am so glad ... and happy ... at the way that Callie told everyone what Izzie did ...

Dr. Hahn was kind of a bitch LOL ... and I used to like her ... But what she said to Cristina was not necessary ...

Yay @ Cristina and Callie bonding ... and that Callie is Cristina's new roomie ...

Amazing episode!!!
Totally loved it.
There were so many moments to love:
-the boy with ear-issues
-NUAMS
-Dead mommy in a zipper bag
-Dr. Hahn joining Seattle Grace (really like that), but what she said to Cristina was unprofessional.
-Callie and Cristina cracking up during the foot amputation
-Best quote: "Seattle's annual Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving Contest- I love this city"

And it may be kind of weird, but I actually warmed to Gizzie in this episode.
When they were sitting together at lunch and then on the bench outside the hospital they just seemed to be made for each other. The looked great together, both happy and... I just liked that.
