Does anyone know yet if next week's DH release will have any freebies at retail stores?

Rowlf_The_Dog, actually, there is a bonus disc. Circuit City has the set for $36.99, plus a free bonus disc, “Desperately Dangerous: Visit With The Villains of Wisteria Lane”.Rowlf_The_Dog wrote:Oh no lol ... no bonus discs? That sucks!
However, after what Circuit City is doing to Speedy1961, who used to post the ads at DVDTalk.com and CheapAssGamer.com, I will never step foot into Circuit City, again. So, I advise against going there. It's a matter of priciple.
I will be taking the Circuit City ad to Best Buy, to price match the $36.99 price, and save $1.00 off of Best Buy's price.
Tuesday is right around the corner! I can't wait!
What, exactly, did he do? Perhaps I'll second the notion.MadonnasManOne wrote: However, after what Circuit City is doing to Speedy1961, who used to post the ads at DVDTalk.com and CheapAssGamer.com, I will never step foot into Circuit City, again. Speedy would post all the stores ad info a week in advanced and Circuit city got mad and said they would sue him and DVDTALK if he didn't stop and now we can know all the info early (I MISS ITPrince Ali wrote:Tuesday is right around the corner! I can't wait!

Also everyone is mad because they say that this brings more business to CIRCUIT CITY which is true because I would usually just wait and not price match at a different store and give them my money.
EVENTHOUGH circuit city is one of the worst stores I have ever been to I really want the BONUS DISC!!!! FORGET MY DIGNITY

Resist the temptation, and keep your dignity. That bonus disc isn't important enough to warrant a trip to Circuit City. They are the absolute worst, and shouldn't be rewarded for going after the little guy!ZOOMBOOM0688 wrote:

Well, I LOST my Dignity and went to
Circuit City
The bonus disc only has the one featurette about the villans it is 14min long and I think it should have been included with the rest of the set because it is made to match the other featurettes.
Am I glad I got it yes but they don't really tell you anything new. Except I didn't know Orson was supposed to be a villan and die at the end.

I'm very disappointed in you, ZOOMBOOM0688. You should have kept your dignity, and not stepped foot into that horrible place. For shame!
I, on the other hand, can hold my head high, and say that I kept my dignity. As much as I wanted that bonus disc, I will not support Circuit City. After all of the crap they have pulled, not just with the Speedy incident, but, as a whole, there's nothing that will ever make me step foot inside a Circuit City, again.
I picked my copy up at Best Buy, and got the points on my Reward Zone card. I actually didn't have to pay a cent, either, because I have store credit. I still have enough left to get Grey's Anatomy, next week!

I don't understand what all the broo-ha-ha is about Circuit City, so I went and got my Desperate Housewives - Season Three there along with the bonus disc Desperately Dangerous: Visit With The Villains of Wisteria Lane and I got it all for just $35.99.
Our Circuit City (and we only have one) is always clean, and everyone there is very pleasant. I have no problems with any of the staff, or the way they treat customers. Don't understand what everyone is up in arms for, just because someone can't get the jump on next week's ads a little early. Seems to be just a silly little thing to be upset about.
Besides the people at DVDTalk are rude, arrogant, and one-sided anyway, and I won't ever go to that site again.

Get over it, it's been part of signature block ever since I joined this site. Everyone has something in their signature block that someone doesn't understand. I just think that it is a cute emoticon, and it has no meaning to me except that it is cute.

Oh! LOL I thought it was part of the message because it is above the line. Also I hadn't been on the forums for a really long time so I didn't knowdvdjunkie wrote:Get over it, it's been part of signature block ever since I joined this site. I can't believe no one has mentioned the cute new menus!!!
I love them, I got sick of the old ones. We should get new ones every season. One thing I didn't like is that except for 2 of them the house on the menu and the housewife don't match. Not a big deal but still. Also cut the long opening! I know we can skip it but I would have liked a tour of Wisteria Lane instead that goes to the house. That's all.
Ps. when will we have a review on this site. I love how there are so many reviews now, because of the layout, and I may be wrong but the site used to have the review even before the DVD was out. Thanks anyways whoever does the reviews.

I love the new menus too ... I was so sick of the old one ...
And I don't like the long intro anymore as well LOL ... It was nice for season one ... but they so should have changed it by now ...
And I hate that when they show Bree and the soup (during the intro) ... It focuses on the can (where in season 1 it used to say "season one" and disc number) ... and it's empty LOL
PS :: I love your siggy!
