What Movies or TV Shows do you want to get a DVD release?
Unfortunately, those two shows are held up from release due to the extensive amount of music used, and the music rights are hard/expensive to clear. The producers could either replace it with generic music (which the fans definitely wouldn't want, and which has been done on shows like "Dawson's Creek" and "Roswell") or get the music rights but charge much more for it (which again, the fans definitely wouldn't want). Music is holding up a lot of DVD releases, such as the rest of "Malcolm in the Middle", "Everwood" (though it also is reflected by the not-so-great sales of the first season), and even unreleased shows like "China Beach". "WKRP in Cincinatti" was originally thought to never get released due to their music, but the producers chose to change a large amount of music in the season sets in order to get it released on DVD.Some Posters wrote:The Wonder Years

The series "My So-Called Life" originally saw a very limited release about 5 or 6 years ago with the music intact, and went out of print soon afterwards. Since then, it's become a very rare DVD set, and is finally being re-released this year by SHOUT! Factory, though some (but not all) the music has been changed.

Here's my wishlist:
The Golden Palace. Now that they have released all 7 seasons of The Golden Girls, this would be the perfect time to release this. There is only one season of the show, and while not as great as The Golden Girls, The Golden Palace still has some great moments. I'm really hoping that Buena Vista will announce this for release, very soon!
Who's The Boss? I really think it sucks that Sony has only released the first season of this show, and hasn't released any, since. It is one of my favorite shows from the 80's, and they should release every season of this, ASAP!
Designing Women. Another great show from the 80's. I used to watch this on Lifetime, every day. In fact, that's where I fell in love with the show. Now, they do not play it on Lifetime, and I don't get to catch it on ION. I would love for them to get on the ball with releasing this show on DVD.
You Can't Do That On Television! It seems that every now and then we hear that this show is being prepped for release to DVD, and then nothing happens. My Sister and I used to watch this on Nickelodeon, after school, every day. We loved it! I was so in love with the show, I even joined the fanclub!

I agree with mommyn08 on "Flash Forward" and "Ready Or Not". Also, I don't have the first "Lizzie McGuire" boxed set, but it'd be cool if they released a second. Then, maybe I'd get both.
They never would due to the music rights, I'm guessing, but "Kids, Incorporated" and "Mickey Mouse Club" (the '90s version) would be amazing!!!
Also, "Even Stevens", "The Famous Jett Jackson", "Bug Juice", "That's So Raven", "Phil of the Future", "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody", "Hannah Montana", "Cory in the House". It'd be cool if "The Jersey" and "So Weird" were released on DVD, too.

Gotta agree with all of those too, and the aforementioned Tiny Toons, a few of the Disney Channel shows mentioned above, and I definitely want the rest of Lizzie and Gargoyles (though right now I only have the first Gargoyles set because the second is both pricey, like 39.99, and hard to find in my area).2099net wrote:House of Mouse, Tremors the series, Parker Lewis Can't Loose... not a series but I would like to see the Bruce Campbell Herbie TV movie too.
I'm actually up for a huge number of animation releases, though I'm in no rush because it's all I can do right now to keep up with the Disney ones (and, like I said, I still need that 2nd Gargoyles to even say I'm caught up with that). I haven't had the opportunity to get many non-Disney ones I really want, like Animaniacs and the many DC Comics hero sets, and Hanna Barbera and other toon shows. All I have right now besides the Disney Afternoon stuff are a few sets I got as gifts or at great prices(Aquateens 1, Family Guy 1, Batman Animated 1, Superman Animated 1, Muppet Show 1, Fraggle Rock 1, and some live-action stuff, mostly Smallville).
