I just got back from watching the worst movie of the decade. Move over Alexander, Shark Tale, Startsky and Hutch, and you too When a Stranger Calls re-make. None of you can touch this movie. This movie is not only the most boring film I've seen in five years, but also the most pointless.
The plot was the worst part of the film, wait or maybe the best. It is hard to tell since the whole film was horrid. The plot begins with a bang, as action occurs. The whole first scene is based off of coincidences, and unlikely reactions (that may sound stupid, I can't think of the word at the moment). The whole plot is filled with plotholes. I can count at least 5 plotholes. Each part of the plot did not mesh with the other, and it seemed as if I was watching twelve different short films.
Unoriginality carried this film. Thank you for copying Monty Python, Flushed Away, and a handfull of other movies (an no, I am not including films that were based off fairytales). The farting and burping is really getting old. The whole last five minutes what related to this act. Where is the comedy? Suppposedly this movie is supposed to make me laugh, yet I, nor any of the people I saw this movie with laughed more than once. Half the time I wanted to fall asleep because of this "originality" the film presents. That one time I did laugh was at how bad the film was.
I promised myself I would not see Shrek the Third after the disaster Shrek 2. I lied to myself, leading to a waste of an hour and thirty-three minutes of my life. Anyone who liked this film (not including the kiddies) is either ignorant or stupid, and need to get their brains removed, they'd be better off without them.

I loved Shrek the Third. I found it a huge improvement over Shrek 2. It was far funnier. The jokes in 3 felt organic to the movie, where in Shrek 2, they felt like desperate crys for laughs. I love the nightmare Shrek has. There is a lot of adult humor here, but it is very well hidden. I like that, because I like humor that makes you think. I was constanly entertained with Shrek the Third. I also like the way a lot of the humor came from the characters (as in Shrek 1) instead of just random pop culture refernces and mild crude humor as in Shrek 2. The pop culture refernces felt like they belonged in Shrek the Third (hence the word organic) unlike Shrek 2.
