Okay guys, if you haven't bought Dignity yet, you should because if you don't, then it could do very badly in the US. This is a super urgent and important message: Hits Daily Double, in the United States, who estimates album sales, have estimated that Hilary will only sell 120, 000 albums in her first week of sales. And that Timbaland and Tim McGraw will sell more than her. However, remember that this is simply an estimate but Hits Daily Double has been known to be pretty close to their estimates.
So if this is true, Dignity will be Hilary's worse debut on the charts since her past albums have usually sold around 200, 000 on their first week.
But there is still this weekend for the sales to go up and also Easter.
So this is one last call for all you fans to buy, buy, buy the album if you have not! Let's make Dignity #1! Please!

Okay sorry for double-posting, my we need to get Hil's sales up. Here's my opinions and ratings on the album, so all you people who haven't bought it, do-
Stranger- 7/10 Nice beat, good vibe, and wonderful chorus. Catchy.
Dignity- 8/10 Good beat too, very very catchy. Punchy bass line. Love the lyrics.
With Love- 8/10 What can I say, great punchy song, and I love it. Still voting for it on the Hot30 and that chorus is so damn good.
Danger- 5.5/10 It sounds like it should be in Lost In Space or something, and she does say Danger a lot. Too slow, but still all right.
Gypsy Woman- 7/10 Don't get the beginning words, but doesn't matter. Interesting backbeat, nice vocals, maybe a bit too slow, but good anyway
Never Stop- 6/10 Almost filler to me, but the catchy chorus saves it. Bit boring, but the interesting timing of the verse is interesting, sounds like its in 3/4 sometimes.
All Work, No Play- 8/10 Love the scratches at the beginning and slow jazz feel of it. Love the old-time flavour of the verses and the chorus is great.
Between You and Me- 6.5/10 Borderline filler, but the chorus is still good. Pleasant enough song, and the vocals are great.
Dreamer- 7/10Love the fast pace, the lyrics and the beginning. The chorus is a bit too plain, but it's still pretty catchy.
Happy- 7.5/10 A bit dark, in the production, but its a nice contrast with the lyrics.Love the chorus, great lyrics for that bit.
Burned- 6.5/10 Also borderline filler, but the production is good. A but boring, but the melody in the chorus saves it.
Outside Of You- 8/10 Great song, love the chorus, rocks so much. The lyrics are superb, sucks that Pink and Chantal Kreviasak wrote it. A mature sound for Hil. Perfect rock tune.
I Wish- 6/10 Very plain, but the punchy backbeat is good. The lyrics are a bit blanc dand it's also too slow. But still good.
Play with Fire- 8.5/10 LOVE this one. Perfect rock anthem, her voice fits perfectly with the lyrics and tune. Great production. Very catchy chorus.

Overall great album. 8.5/10. Buy it, please.

Dignity is the only CD from Hilary Duff that I have. The reason I bought it was because of the song and video for 'Play With Fire', and then when 'With Love' came out I knew I had to have the CD. Hopefully she'll continue to grow and become a great, mature artist. I also think the dark hair helped her appeal to an older audience, she really doesn't look like Lizzie McGuire anymore, which will be good for her career. I respect her more now than I did before this album came out. I like how throughout her fame she has maintained her dignity, cheesy pun not intended, and hasn't become like Lindsay Lohan. Good for her.

My favorite tracks are: Stranger, With Love, Gypsy Woman, No Work/All Play, Happy, Outside of You, and Play With Fire.

Oh thank god someone else has bought it! We need Dignity to debut highly on the Billboard charts. It's great that you enjoyed it, she's put her heart and soul into this record. I love all the songs that you mentioned, though not as keen on Gypsy Woman as others like Dignity, and Between You and Me.Do you like Danger? That's the only one I'm still not too fond of. But other than that, it's a great album. Did you get the standard album or the deluxe edition? I got the standard edition, because that's the only one we got. We have to wait a few months for the deluxe edition. It's cool that you like Stranger, because us fans are like 99% sure that it'll be the next single. We have three reasons-
1. She's performed it on several shows
2. She has a gap in the song, like a rapping part is meant to be there, like PCD did with Buttons and Snoop Dogg.
and 3. You can preorder the single off a Japanese site, and will go on sale in Australia on 4th June.
I personally can't wait for the clip, it'll be awesome, because I assume it'll follow on from With Love, since it ended with "to be continued...".
In other Hil news, I'm sure you've all heard about it, but Lindsay Lohan and Hilary aren't enemies anyway. Hil invited LiLo to her Dignity Launch Party and they were snapped together. They've also been seen hanging out in clubs together, and kissing each other's hands. Also, when Nicole Richie walked into their club, they ran to the bathroom immediately, presumabley to gossip about her. Here's a link to a site with the picture-

I got the standard just because it's my first HD album and the deluxed didn't have additional songs and I didn't really need a DVD of all her videos, but maybe for her next one I will because I really enjoyed this album.

I'm really glad that Stranger is going to be the next single because it is really good. I think that after that she should release, Happy, Outside of You or No Work, All Play. All of those are album sellers.

As for Danger, it's okay, it's growing on me to the point that I know it but if it weren't there I wouldn't really care.

As for LiLo: I think the less Hilary has to do with her the better, It's great that they've made up, but other than that nothing good can come of it. At least we don't have to worry about LiLo slamming her in the press for a while.

Yeah, I agree with all of those potential singles you mentioned. Unfortunately Hil doesn't really release many singles, so I don't know if we'll see that many, so how knows. I think she should at least release Happy after Stranger, that's a great song. nd yeah, even though I love both Hil and LiLo, they should stay apart because they're both so different, and they should stick apart.

Hey guys, there must've been a lot of people buying Dignity, because it debuted highly, at No.4, according to Billboard.com. It debuted behind Martina McBride, at No. 3, but in front of Timbaland, at No. 5, Beyonce's new Deluxe Edition of B'Day, which jumped from No.69 to 6, Paul Wall at No. 8, and Alison Krauss at No. 10. Akon, Chris Daughtry, Tim McGraw, and the Now 24 Compilation completes the rest of the Top 10.
That's a really good debut for Hilary, that her fourth straight Top 5 debut. That mean she's had four of her five albums debut either at No. 1, which 3 have, or in the Top 5, which Dignity did, though we don't really count Santa Clause Lane as a studio album, normally.
Congrats to everyone who bought her album. Her creativity in this album has paid off!

Oh, forgot to mention it, but apparently the Stranger video clip is going to incorporate an Indian vibe into it, with her reportedly going to film it in India or at least have an Indian theme, with her dressing and dancing in Indian. Don't know if that's true, or how that's going to follow up the To Be Continued bit at the end of With Love, but we can hope that she'll do a good clip.
Oh, and With Love is now at no. 24 on the US Billboard Charts, jumping from 42. Keep buying Dignity and With Love guys!

Not that I have read the interview yet (or really care, tbh) but there's a Hilary Duff interview in the new issue of Blender (which is an American music magazine).

I got the latest issue of "Cosmo!Girl" in the mail today, and Hilary's on the cover, and there's a really great interview with her in it- I was surprised at a lot of the things she mentioned. I already had uber-respect for Hilary, but I do even more now.

James, here's a link to some questions that the Cosmo!Girl magazine didn't have, but the website does. It seems that for the full article, you need to pick up the magazine...

Guess what guys, Australia's next Hilary Duff single is going to be Play With Fire. That really sucks, because the clip was made in like August of last year, and it's older than With Love, and we're getting it as the next single, and I wanted Stranger, not some Play With Fire song that's already been sold online. It really sucks, I'm not happy about this.

Well, I got some cool B-Day gifts, but no Hilary Duff CD. :( The thing that sucks about that, is that now I have to pay a higher price to get the deluxe one. It was on sale the week it came out, but since a certain friend of mine always gets me Duff stuff, I really thought I didn't need to buy it. Oh well. I'll be getting it anyway, but I need to see if anyone still has it cheaper than Target (19.99 for the Deluxe one). I'll check Wal-Mart, but that's my only hope, if they even carry the deluxe one. However, I have a $20 gift card for Target, so I'd rather get it there.

I finally got the new CD, I heard "Gypsy Woman" in the mall today and I had to get it. I think it's Hilary's best album yet.

Yeah, definitely her best, she's been really creative with the production of it. Gypsy Woman is very creative, no wonder you wanted to buy it after hearing it!

Hey guys, I have, as the title implies, a lot of new Hilary info. It seems that Stranger is definitely the next single and we got it through people voting on her website, of which I actually wasn't aware. It seems it was neck and neck between Stranger and Danger, but Stranger obviously won, and here's the US cover- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Hila ... ranger.jpg. Here's the UK and Australian cover- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Hila ... ranger.jpg Hilary is filming the clip and here's a piccie of her as a snake charmer, in indian costume- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:HD-S.jpg The clip will be given a first look on June the 1st, and I can't wait for it! It's on my calender. Also, here's a quote about her music career -
When Dignity was finished, Duff also finished her four major album contract with Hollywood Records. For that reason Hollywood Records wants atleast 4-5 singles from Dignity. Duff had just recently signed another major four albums with Hollywood. She would be going in the studio to record her fith album in November/December and have a March 2008 release.

Isn't that cool? 4-5 singles from Dignity, Play with Fire, With Love, Stranger, Gypsy Woman and Happy would do me just fine. And its cool that she's doing another four albums, and will have another one ready next year for March 08. That's terrific, don't know how she'll fit all this in, with doing new single promotion, video clips, new albums, new movies, new clothing lines, new fragrances and the big one, touring. Yay Hilary!
