I forgot when I made my post Wednesday that I had picked up a few $5.50 DVDs at Wally-World...
The Flight of the Phoenix (1965)
Dunston Checks In
Fly Away Home
------
Oh, and for those wondering about my TMNT deal, it was a case of a mis-shelved DVD at my local store, and probably wouldn't have been honored if another clerk or manager had done it.
Basically, the TMNT Movies 3-pack was on sale for 16.99, but I found the price tag on the New Release wall, and it just said "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - $16.99" and there were two rows of Season 4, and none of the movie box sets.. The sale tag was on the second row, which had one Season 4 in it.

Marie Antoinette Royal Box Set R2 PAL FRENCH
Includes the film on a 2 disc set (includes additional 50 minute BBC documentary supplement), Marie Antoinette Biography book (in French), Paper Fan and (French) Theatrical Poster.

The Thin Man Collection R1 NTSC
The Thin Man / After the Thin Man / Another Thin Man / Shadow of the Thin Man / The Thin Man Goes Home / Song of the Thin Man / Bonus Disc

Idiocracy R1 NTSC
Really looking forward to this.

What's New Scooby-Doo? The Compete 1st Season R1 NTSC
Yes, I have them on the individual releases, but being the Scooby fan that I am, I can't resist proper season sets.

The Champions: The Complete Series R2 PAL
All thirty episodes on 9 discs. Its wonderfully presented, with a thick, informative booklet and loads of 'special edition' extras. I picked this up cheap, but don't regret it at all. I hope Randal and Hopkirk (Deceased) has the same treatment. *sigh* That's been pushed back (again).

Yes. Note everything can be played in English without subtitles except the BBC documentary which is French audio onlyDottie wrote: Aaaww, I so want to have that one too. Did you get it on amazon.fr?

Thanks for the info!! So all the special features are in English (except the BBC dcumentary)? This is great, because my French isn't the best. Or I can practice it by watching it in French. How much was shipping?2099net wrote:Yes. It was 6.05 Euros for the shipping. But that was to Britain remember. Yes, they are in English. They all come up with French subtitles, but you can turn them off with your controller. The same for when you select English for the films soundtrack (it has English and French in both DD5.1 and DTS)
