I bought Peter Pan too at a local store and when I took off the price sticker a bit of Peter's face came with it! (Tiny-tiny bit, but still.) In those times, I think of Escapay and and is well again.UmbrellaFish wrote:I bought Peter Pan. I got it in a 2-Pck at Wal-Mart (with the featurette DVD). I'm kinda sad, though, because when I took the plastic off the slipcover (it just has to be wrapped twice), a bit of it came off. It really hurts because I'm a perfectionist.

I'm just joshin' you!The Little Merman wrote: To answer your question: a combination of that I have and always will love Britney, I've been sick these past few weeks, it was five bucks, and my Mom thought it would be a little inside joke of ours to get it for me since she hated it when we saw it together.

I picked up Peter Pan, with the Hook figure from Best Buy... I had them price match it to Target's 15.99.
I also got Slither for 10 bucks, Mr. Deeds for 3.99, and Willow for 6.99, along with an MTV sampler and another 300 preview/movie ticket.

Good choice but I only wish that Paramount would not call it "I Love Lucy: The Complete Final Seasons 7, 8, & 9" as it's really "The Lucy-Dezi Comedy Hour" Spin-off show. I mean did Sony call "Archie Bunker's Place: Season One" DVD "All in the Family: Season Ten". No, no they did not. But other than that little vent session I’m fine with it and can't wait to get the set.Prince Ali wrote: My Lucy collection is officially complete! That annoyed me as well. But if you want to get even more technical, they should have titled it The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show, as that was the title during the show's original broadcast. For some odd reason, it was changed to The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour once it began running in syndication. But all in all, it was the same exact show. They probably figured that new fans of I Love Lucy would think it was a different show and not cough up the dough.JiminyCrick91 wrote:Good choice but I only wish that Paramount would not call it "I Love Lucy: The Complete Final Seasons 7, 8, & 9" as it's really "The Lucy-Dezi Comedy Hour" Spin-off show. By the way, is Archie Bunker's Place actually on DVD? I've never actually seen it, but I'd really like to. I still don't understand what the point was of killing off Edith and starting a new show with Archie by himself.

Only year one has been on DVD so far. Also Edith was killed off in start of season two.Prince Ali wrote:By the way, is Archie Bunker's Place actually on DVD? My US copy of Peter Pan has shipped, and I should be expecting that and a few others soon, as well as buying the local edition and Cinderella III next pay.
However, I did just pick up the Doctor Who - New Beginnings box set. Containing three serial episodes of the original series (Keeper of Traken, Logopolis and Castrolava), it covers the end of the Tom Baker years and the start of the Peter Davison.
I also got a stack of review discs last week, which I won't bore you all with. However, highlights include Antonioni's La Notte; Jackie Chan's The Myth and some docos.

I got part of a DDD order in:
Game Over: The Complete Series
Popeye The Movie
Then I found The Addams Family movie at a pawnshop, along with the "special" version of the Little Mermaid VHS...
They were 3.99 each...
Finally, I went to Best Buy and grabbed Little Nicky, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and Saving Silverman for $5 each, along with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 4 (1990) for 17 bucks!! That deal was probably a 1-time thing...

Evidently, I wasn't paying too much attention, Pals, when I copied and pasted my latest purchased dvds from my dvdspot account.MickeyMousePal wrote:CJ, it's TMNT Volume 4 not TMNT Volume 7 Season 4.

I'll be sure to edit my original post to show the correct title.
