I just went out and looked at the wiki article - great job everybody! I think it's something we should all concentrate on keeping up to date.

Yeah! Absolutely! So I guess it wasn't a bad idea on my part to start the article. Initially I wasn't sure of my idea.

Certain members get put into the member escapy's signature in part of his WIST (Wish I said that) or WTF series. It has also started many internet cults including the one-member reyquila fan club, the worshippers of danfrades and the followers of escapy Inc. who wish for people to use their DVD slipcases as coasters and not DVD condoms.
Seriously guys, do you think this is appropriate for the aticle?

I wonder who wrote it?

Oh, I never noticed I had a typo :D I'll delete that part now anyways, since well it isn't appropriate

I added the "Different Types of Releases" part. I didn't know if it was necessary or not, but I added it because I was bored*.

*I'm bored because I have a 7 day weekend. We got off of school because of snow on Tuesday. Today, I would have been in school, but there is a teacher work day, and there isn't school on Monday because of Presidents Day. Yes, I really want to go back to school. The good thing is though, that my father is taking me to see "Bridge to Terebithia" on Monday, so I'm happy about that.

Gosh, how it's grown. I think even I'm learning stuff about the site from this article!

I changed the "Coundown" a bit, and added the "New & Upcoming Events" part.

This turns out to be quite fun! :D

The "fads" section is not appropriate for an encylopedia article. Myself, as a member of this forum, hadn't even heard of any of those fads. Those fads are pretty nice, but simply not appropriate for the article.

No offense, but where in the world is my FAQs and Different Types of Releases? I worked hard on those, especially the latter. Whoever should have at least said something, or changed it so it wasn't completely gone.

Did you save what you contributed? You could try putting it in there again. How long did you wait for them to add it? Did someone add it and then it was taken down?

By the way, there's a Related links section at the bottom of that page. Under the page for Platinum Edition DVDs, the person misspelled "autumn" and it reads "autuum."

Unfortunately, I didn't save it, seeing that I thought that it would stay on the page. I added it onto the page yesterday, and then when I got on this morning, it had vanished.

I really hate to say this to you, but this is a typical Key learning experience. I have had to go through this sort of thing before, and it teaches you that you have to save everything. I mean, I think you pretty effectively save this on a WordPad or NotePad doc. It may be primitive, but I save everything through NotePad, just so I have the Words still there. This sort of thing needs to happen to teach us about the unpredictability of the internet.

There's a history section so you can see all the different versions of the article. If it got submitted at any time, it should be there. Though the version I saw yesterday had a really lengthy discussion of Different Release Types, which probably doesn't belong in an article on UD (a link should to the section should suffice, I'd think).

Well... it surely has changed since I last checked it out (yesterday, I think). A lot. The Slang section is now gone (I think - I don't see it).

Yes, I know, Luke pointed that out. I just put a link to it on the page.

I agree - the site was far more intelligent at the beginning. Far less said but it was posts were far more important and intelligent.

This can probably be attributed to me posting more often.
