I don't have MMILCV2, so I can't comment on the Mickey holding a gun, but the "Tom & Jerry" reference is about the censorship done to the T&J DVD sets. Usually if something on the DVD is edited, the review would make a note of it, as has been done for The Lion King, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, etc. I don't own a variety of Treasures sets, where these types of edits (or making-sure-they're-not-edited instances) were more common. Basically the same thing could be said about several more titles. A lot (or most...?) of the old shorts have been more or less cut or censored for possibly "problematic content" at one time or another - on TV or video. The entire cartoon is uncut. There's even a Maltin intro explaining about questionable scenes here, but ironically, it's not on guns and gunplay, it's on stereotypical accents and dialogue, which is what is heard coming from the Italian accent of Pete (who in this cartoon is named Sylvester Macaroni).Beastboyravenz wrote:I was reading about Symphony Hour that some scenes were cut.
