Yes, a winner for 2006 needs to be determined and awarded, and a new thread for 2007 started prior to the release of <i>Bridge to Terabithia</i>. Soon, I hope. Though the winner may have to await <i>Roving Mars</i> and <i>Santa Clause 3</i>'s departures from cinemas.kbehm29 wrote:I really miss this thread. Can we revive it?
Thanks...

I didn't do very well predicting last year, but I was also trying a bit of an experiment by not revising any of my predictions. That didn't work too well, as I was off by quite a bit on several movies (the Wild especially!). Not gonna try that again this coming year!
early predictions:
Bridge to Terebithia - $78 million
Meet the Robinsons - $105 million
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - $400 million
Ratatouille - $200 million
Underdog - $75 million
Enchanted - $100 million
National Treasure 2 - $105 million

Time for some 2007 predicts!
Bridge to Terabithia - I think I've seen the trailer for this, like, once. The promotion on this has been pretty terrible if you ask me. I still don't know what the hell it's about aside from what I've read here and at IMDb! $45 million
Meet the Robinsons - Could be Chicken Little-esque, dollarwise, not qualitywise. $150 million
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - This is gonna be just as huge as DMC, trust me.
$415 million
Ratatouille - Still sticking to my original prediction. $275 million
Underdog - Not much is known about it at this time, so I'll give a generic prediction. $50 million
Enchanted - This should be blockbuster #3 for what should be one of Disney's most succesful years on record. $135 million
National Treasure: The Book of Secrets - I expect it to be bigger and better than the original, and go on to become a huge success, the second biggest of the year. $275 million
Cheers,
JM
