With the lack of new DTV sequels for next year I full expect around 8 DAC to make it to DVD next year. Although I expect lackluster treatment for most.

Here's what I'm expecting/hoping for:
Peter Pan: PE
The Jungle Book: PE
Hercules: 2 Disc 10th anniversary edition
The Aristocats: Mildly Comical name edition
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: Mildly comical name edition
The Rescuers: 30th anniversary edition or (this is what I really want) The Sword in the Stone: Mildly comical name edition. SitS is so hard to find in my area, I really want it to become available.
Meet the Robinsons

And I'm praying for a 3 to 4 disc 70th Anniversary Edition of Snow White this december. I can't see how Disney could let this occasion go by unmarked. It also prevents a SW: PE re-release, and opens up the spot for 101 Dalmatians.

I figure Disney is scrambling to redo their schedule for 2007 with the setback of The Tinkerbell Movie, since it won't be coming out for two more years they'll have to think of something else to push.

The whole reason for doing a PE release of Peter Pan was to promote TTM when it was released not long after.

I fully expect a special edition of Return To Neverland will follow the PE release of Peter Pan. I'm also hoping for a trilogy set of the Cinderella movies to be released when Cindy3 is out.

I'd also love a special edition of The Little Mermaid 2.

TTM wasn't the only reason for bumping Peter Pan up. I thought it was for a long time too, but I think it has more to do with capitalizing on the "Pirate Mania" that's going on right now with the release of PotC 2 and 3.

Re-releases of Return to Neverland and The Jungle Book 2 are imminent as well. I figured Cinderella 2 would be re-released to help sales of Cindy 3, but it doesn't look that way. I'm also shocked that we've heard nothing about a LM2 re-release, but that could change too.

you're just confusing people, you worded it like it was confirmed, and tell us something we don't know  You would buy a Disney Classic DVD even if it was the worst film on Earth

The Rescuers is on right now on TOON DISNEY (why can't the regular DISNEY channel air this? Is this movie not good enough for TweenDisney channel?) and I would LOVE to see a 30th anniversary edition of this movie. I think its time for an anniversary edition. A Nice 30th Anniversary special edition.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Actually The Rescuers did air on regular Disney Channel about three months ago...it was really random though and it came on during the day. After the Playhouse Disney segment.

Yeah a re-release 30th anniversary edition would be really great though.

So Far for 2007 we have Peter Pan: PE, The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh: Friendship editon, and The Jungle Book: PE...

I would would really like to see Hercules: 10th anniversary or a HunchBack of Notre Dame re-release...or even the Aristocats.

About the Aristocats that's penciled in for 2007, I sent an email asking the Walt Disney Company that The Aristocats Special Edition will be released in May 2007 and I asked the Disney Company that the edition title for the Aristocats will be "Groovin' Jazz Edition" and then I asked the Disney company what special features the Aristocats Special Edition has.

I think he means he sent an email asking if they will release it in May and if they will call it the 'Groovin Jazz' edition and what special features it has, although the way he phrased it, it seemed to suggest it was confirmed for May, which it isn't.
