Casino Royale Considering that a lot of the new Bond films in my lifetime up until now have been nice yet ultimately cheesy popcorn flicks, seeing this film was extremely refreshing. A departure from the Bond stereotype on the whole, actually. Which isn't a bad thing at all (not bashing the classic Bond flicks, but change can be good
). I loved the dark atmosphere and involving plot.High School Musical Okay. I'll admit it. I liked it. I tried to hate it like I knew I should (me liking a DCOM? pfhhh...
). And some aspects I found mediocre or cringe-making. Yet...there was something so fun about it all. 
One Two Three A piece of its time, definitely. However, it's a great comedy and satire at political thought of the Cold War. Billy Wilder was a guru.
Jurassic Park On TV again recently, though I sadly missed the first half. Another good one.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Seeing this on Christmas Eve itself, all big and in 3D was a magical experience. Why can't we have a christmas with horror in it? That would be better than a lot of the tat that we're normally exposed to.
The Muppet Christmas Carol A hat-trick of a film: classic Disney movie, classic Muppets extravaganza and classic Christmas movie.
Alice in Wonderland Not the Disney classic, but the 1999 TV movie, that was on the British channel E4 recently. I didn't catch it all, though. I had seen it all the way through earlier in the year, though, so I feel that I can make an opinion of it. On the whole, it was okay. Some of the cast was great. Gene Wilder was especially wonderful as the Mock Turtle. And there was some wonderful art direction. However, whilst the puppet special effects were very good, some of the computer generated effects frankly sucked. And some parts of the adaptation (the sentimental Wizard of Ozification that sometimes popped up, how the Looking Glass characters were folded in) weren't all that great.
