Well the Junkie's Home Theater got out a couple of classics yesterday and last night. We watched:
The Country Bears - because of all the flack I am reading about how bad this movie is, and wow! it really is a fun movie to watch as a family. Something for everyone.
The Spirit of St. Louis - Bio-pic of Charles A. Lindbergh which documents moments in his life leading up to his solo flight across the Atlantic to Paris, France. Really good movie with James Stewart as Lindbergh.
The Glenn Miller Story - James Stewart as the famous band leader who mysteriously died during a USO tour during WWII. June Allyson plays his wife, and this is one bio-pic that withstands the sands of time. The music is great, and the story is a lot of fun to watch.
And to end the movie watching for this fabulous day we watched the very first Beatles movie,
A Hard Day's Night. I had forgotten just how much fun this movie really is. Great British humor, good cast, and a lot of the best of the Beatles music.
