I'm guessing no matter where you buy it, the case will still have the snaps on the side.Matt wrote:I am not getting Robin Hood because it has the annoying snap shut cases so I will wait to Target gets their shipment in.

Yesturday i was at my local fye store and i found two copies of the Robin Hood: Most Wanted Edition. Isn't it illegal to sell things before their release date? it was on shelf for $24.99. If it weren't so much i would've gotten it. but knowing that tomorrow at midnight i could pick it up at wal-mart for about $15 helped me decide i could wait.

Yes, FYE does that alot. I've seen this happen with other DVDs such as the box sets of Grounded for Life, Roseanne, and even The Golden Girls. That is so strange that they do that. But, hey, if they get the PE of Peter Pan in a few days early, I'm there!singerguy04 wrote:Yesturday i was at my local fye store and i found two copies of the Robin Hood: Most Wanted Edition. Best Buy has it for 17.99? I thought it said 19.99. Oh well, change of plans, now I'm going to Best Buy!magicalwands wrote:It's 17.99 there, and you save $3 when you buy that and another Disney DVD.jrboy wrote:How much is at:

Just picked my copy up today from Best Buy, (and also picked up Monsters, Inc for $3 off)! I entered my code at the Disney Movie Rewards website, now all I have to do is watch the film.
I'm excited about this one because I don't own the movie yet, plus it's been a while since I've even seen it.

if you have Best Buy Bucks, you can get up to $3 off Robin Hood and don't have to buy another Disney DVD. If I get out there to get a copy, I may do that.
I wish Target had it on sale.
$19.99 is NOT a sale price.
I wish Target had it on sale.

Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Are Best Buy Bucks the same as Reward Zone? I have that... I'm going to hold off on buying this since it's so much money...I might as well wait until DMC gets it (I already have the Gold Collection).jediliz wrote:if you have Best Buy Bucks, you can get up to $3 off Robin Hood and don't have to buy another Disney DVD. So, I was wondering, what ever happened to the review for Robin Hood? I'm kind of depending on the review to help me decide if this release is worth the upgrade, (I have the GC copy), and I'm not planning on buying it until I read the UD review (yes, reviews are that important to me!)

I agree, BB! I didn't double dip on "Dumbo", since the UD review of the Big Top Edition convinced me to save my $. I can't wait for the "Robin Hood" review.brotherbear wrote:So, I was wondering, what ever happened to the review for Robin Hood? I just finished watching my copy of Robin Hood: Most Wanted Edition and I was very pleased. It has been a long time since I have seen this film. Before I started my DVD collection a couple years ago I watched most of the animated features, so this is my first time seeing this movie on DVD. I thought the picture looked good for a movie from the 70's, the widescreen was nice and the picture looked good to me. Watching this film again made me appreciate it a lot more. I think the characters are great, especially Prince John. He is an interesting villain because you can easily hate him, yet at the same time he is funny and silly too. I also thought the music was great too. The "Phony King of England" scene was one of my favorites of the film. I also enjoyed the "Not In Nottingham" song as well. I guess as a whole I was very impressed with this Robin Hood DVD and I liked the story more than I had remembered. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and glad to have this film added to my Disney collection.

I just bought it at Best Buy, and the case did not have the snaps. It was a regular case.Matt wrote:I saw it today at my local Walmart even The Cheetah Girls 2 but I refuse to buy both of them!
I am not getting Robin Hood because it has the annoying snap shut cases so I will wait to Target gets their shipment in.
I am not going to double dip on The Cheetah Girls 2 because I know they will be releasing it to a 2-Disc DVD next year.
I will not be a sucker for that anymore!
