Oh... My bad. To be fair though, it wasn't obvious. It's hard to detect sarcasm when it's written, seeing as it is usually expressed through tone of voice and facial cues. When I write jokes here, I usually add something in perenthesis to let everyone know I'm kidding unless it is completely obvious. People have posted more absurd things here in the past and been completely serious and convinced about their "facts." I get that it is a joke, though. That was funny, akhenaten.

Out of curiosity, what is the character in your avatar and why would someone be put off by it?

Ok, while I can clearly say I'm gald SW is going to be re-released in 2008 (since I don't have the DVD yet)....I'm more disppointed that 101 Dalmatians hasn't had a PE release yet....yet it's still on delay and won't know until further notice. I agree with nearly everyone here, it's annoying how they change the dates for the release nearly all the time especially with 101 Dalmatians and even Pinocchio. Since the last limited issue release was a while back ago I was hoping it to be released quicker and I would also like if they were to release every platinum line and new releases before they go back and re-release the old PE again, I like 101 Dalmatians very much and I remember liking it when I was younger which is why I'm fond of buying the DVD when it comes out but it definitely needs to be released in a better packaged DVD PE release (or masterpiece edition as well call it here). In that conclusion I would very much like to see 101 Dalmatians being released as a 2 disc PE release before any other re-releases on the platinum line starts again. The delays has got me thinking though, the studio really has to manage their specific time of the date that every DVD is being released, the changings causes much more fustration for Disney fans who wants their DVD to be released first.

Okey dokey I'm going to talk about other releases now, I'm really excited about the Peter Pan release and The Jungle Book release, it's going to come next year or 2008 but I was waiting for the Jungle Book to be released for over a little while now. I still have desires for Pinocchio and fantasia etc. but I would much rather have the ones that deserves to be released first to come out before any other new DVD comes out in PE form. I'm still fairly surprised that Peter Pan jumped the line over 101 Dalmatians though, I thought the rest of the lost could still wait with the on schedule platinum releases having to finish all the releases. So far, the suggestion of the three DVD per year I gotta think has been a good idea. It might help all the Disney DVDs being released quicker and have us to not keep on waiting. I actually thought about the seven year moratorium already, if Snow White comes out in 2008 I think the re-release of the old PE releases is going to happen. And frankly we'd have to wait longer for the rest of the platinum line to be released.......that's probably more disppointing for die hard Disney fans since we've had to wait longer than expected.
You shall run young buck and rest, no you can't stop, the adventure hasn't finished yet.

Wow! You drew that? That is really good. Are you an animation major? You got the light and shaddows to look EXTREMELY good.

P.S: What is the basic story of the boy who was afraid?

It's a good line up, but there are going to be a lot of user's that in a couple of minutes are going to tell you " Why are you opening more threads! of threads that already exist!" That's what they'll tel you. And it's possible that they'll tell you " that's why there's a search bar!" Just letting you know in advanced, I personally don't care but a lot of user's here really do.

Will Pinocchio feature some of the same features as seen on the 2003 DVD? The one that was released everywhere EXCEPT the USA? I think so. They should also have a section devoted to short cartoons. Here, your cartoon choices are "Figaro" and "Jiminy Cricket".

FIGARO TOONS THAT SHOULD BE SHOWN:
  • 1. Figaro and Cleo (1943)
    2. Bath Day (1946)
    3. Pluto's Sweater (1949)
JIMINY CRICKET TOONS THAT SHOULD BE SHOWN:
  • 1. I'm No Fool With Fire
    2. I'm No Fool In Water
    3. I'm No Fool Having Fun
What do you think?
