That. Is. IT! I hate Edie. Yes, everyone seems to have a soft spot for her since she's hilarious (and hot!), but a woman who would stoop so low as to alters someone's mind and memories just to get him has no room in my heart. She's not even ashamed of her actions, reasoning them with "having eyes on him for two years". She's dispicable at best. You know, Susan may have screwed up over and over and over, but her intentions were always good. She was misguided. Edie? She's playing this out in the most cold and calculated way possible and it's pissing me off! Lets hope she bites the big one.

The episode was fantastic (heck, anything that would get me that riled up must be doing something right). The whole teaser was histerical, as was pretty much everything else. Well done Marc Cherry, you're back on track!

OH MY GOD!!!

Desperate Housewives is way beyond being back. It has never been better!!!!

Another EXCELLENT episode, tonight, with the whole Orson Hodge mystery becoming even more tangled into the lives of the residents of Wisteria Lane!

I must say, I am really enjoying Laurie Metcalf on the show. She's really bringing her A-game to the character of Carolyn Bigsby. The revelation that Alma Hodge had been beaten by Orson, and there were pictures and a police report was something I didn't see coming. Then, to find out that Carolyn's husband was having an affair with the mystery woman, Monique, who Orson obviously knew. Later, he calls the police, to reveal that Monique had been having an affair with Mr. Bigsby. He is obviously trying to put the blame on Mr. Bigsby, but why?

I knew Susan would end up running back to Ian. It's no surprise, really. It seems like she just can't be without a man.

Oh, that evil Edie. She's really got her hooks into Mike.

Lynette and Tom's story continues to be a great one. That stupid Nora made her move on Tom, and thank God Tom turned her away. Felicity Huffman is such a great actress, and I love how she played the whole scene where she kicked in Nora's door, and was getting ready to lay into Nora, when Nora's daughter walked in. Then, she "hugs" Nora, only to tell her that she will do to Nora's spine what she did to the door, if Nora ever comes near Tom, again. You go, Lynette!

Carlos and Gabrielle. I don't know if there is any hope for those two. At this point, they are only hurting each other, over and over.

In the end, Edie decides to surprise Mike, and come out in a sexy nurse uniform. Suddenly, Mike has a flashback, where he remembers Monique. What is Mike's association with her? Did he kill Monique? What is Mike's connection with Orson?

The preview for next week got my heart racing. My jaw literally dropped to the floor. Who is going to be killed? Did any of you notice that look of absolute sadness and pain on Lynette's face? Who got shot? Who dies? Next Sunday's episode, I have a feeling, is truly going to change everything. It looks to be a series best!

Another episode has come and gone and OH. MY. GOD.

I'm sorry, but I must start at the end. The preview for next week's episode was amazing! The hostage situation is here, and it looks like Lynette gets shot. If she leaves the show, I my spirit will die. I love Lynette. The crazy thing is...Carolyn Bigsby seems to be the one who shoots her. Why is that, I wonder?

Other highlights include:

Susan going back to Ian (grr) after she finds Edie and Mike going at it in Mike's hospital room.

Bree forgives Carolyn, only to be once again confronted by the woman, this time with hard evidence.

Mr. Bigsby apparently had an affair with the woman in the morgue.

Orson gives the above information to the police anonymously.

Nora (grr) makes a move on Tom, and Lynette all but kills her for it.

Edie seems to be feeling a little (just a little) guilty over stealing Mike from Susan.

Gabby seduces Carlos for money, only to have it blow up in her face. Their divorce is getting ugly.

Mike's memory is returning...and he can remember Monique.

Gosh ... I have been trying to limit internet activity the past few days because I have a major major exam tomorrow ...

But ... I just couldn't stay away for this one ...

Tonight's ep has to be the best one this season thus far ... and I am positive it will be lose that crown next week ... with the hostage situation ...

What drives Mrs. Bigsby to such desperate measures?

In the TV Guide it says that Bree is at home making hors d'oeuvres when she sees a news report of the supermarket hostage situation ...

It appears that Bree ... Gaby ... and Susan are not in the supermarket ...

From two pics in the TV Guide ... Nora is there with Lynette ... and Carolyn points a gun to Lynette's head ...

From the preview ... Julie is at the grocery store ... as is Harvey Bigsby ... and Lynette has a little blood on her face ...

From earlier reports ... a lead character will die ... and someone will get wounded ... we will also be introduced to the new owner of the Young house that will save the day for a housewife (rumor has it that it will be Lynette) ...

Who is going to die???? I hope Nora LOL ... especially after tonight's episode ...

Tonight was perfect ... the comedy ... the drama ... the juicy details ...

Classic Lines ...

"I'm a bitch with a capital 'C'." LOL

"I'm Ida Greenburg!"

"God must have sent you a cab."

"Yeah ... he's hot."

You know what ... I was the biggest Ian hater ... (and I still don't like that he is basically cheating on his comatose wife) ... but I don't think Mike deserves Susan ... she was right when she said her life with Mike was full of drama ... and with Ian ... it is drama-free (so far LOL) ...

So ... Harvey was bangin' Monique ... Orson knows Monique ... it appears as if Mike was also bangin' Monique ... gosh ... was Orson as well?

Hmmm ... if Carolyn can go all postal with a gun in the supermarket ... could she have found out about Monique ... and killed her ???

Could Carolyn be Alma's killer too?

I am still sticking behind Orson ... It is just too obvious if he is the killer ...

And YAY! Bree isn't at the grocery store ...

So is it Nora ... maybe Julie? I wonder who is going to die ...

Didn't anyone catch that Monique is also the person we know as Alma Hodge? It was rather obvious. Go back and re-watch the episode. We have a major quadrangle here, and Orson's anonymous phone call has set the wheels in motion for it all to come around to Orson down the road. And where does that leave Mike in this whole mess?

Gaby's divorce is really getting nasty.

And the teaser for next week is really good. I hope that whoever dies, won't be missed. Hate to think it would be any of the original housewives, but who knows.

I don't think it's Julie that dies...remember the report that said there was romance in her future?
I really hope Lynette doesn't die...perhaps she has the sad look on her face because Tom dies...that would be an interesting twist.

oh....My....GOD! Last nights episode was incredible! This season just keeps toping itself over and over agai! And it looks like there's no stopping it!

Lynette's story was definatley the highlight of last night! I was dissapointed that we didn't get to see her and Nora duke it out, but the scene was funny anyway, especially...

LYNETTE: (Kicks down the door, looks at Nora) Ding, Dong.

...I love it!

Gabby and Carlos' story really got interesting! I was laughing so hard when she pushed him out the window. I mean, that seems physically impossible (and it very well could be) but they made it look so real!

Bree and Orson's story got more complicated, and more confusing. I'm looking forward to when we get some answers. Oh, and how could Monique be Alma? That's not possible. If so, Carolyn would have recognized her at the mourge. I'm just confused.

Well, next week's episode looks to be the best one in the entire series so far! I have a feeling Nora will die, and I wouldn't be too upset over that. Lynette is obviously not gonna die, that'd be far to obvious as judging from the preview. Oh man, I can't wait for next week!

dvdjunkie wasn't saying that Monique was Alma, it's just that the police thought that it was Alma's body, so he was just going back to that, I suppose. I'm just surprised no one mentioned the whole "Tu something something Monique" thing and all.

I'm guessing that Orson put Mike's number on "Monique"'s hand when he killed her.

I really want to know why Orson has it out for Mike. I mean, it's obvious that it has something to do with Monique...but what is it?!?!

It's really weird that Orson has become such a huge character. At first we thought he was just some guy that Susan saw at the movie theater and that we'd never see him again. Boy were we wrong...

Monique and Alma are not the same people ... they are played by two different actresses as well ...

Monique is played by Kathleen York ... Alma Hodge is played by Valerie Mahaffey ...

Hmmm ... Could Alma be our dear friend from the psychiatric hospital ???

I'm 99.9% sure that that's Alma. We know that Orson did something to her, but I don't think he murdered her.

I'm going to pop in my season two DVD and check. I'll post whether or not it's the same person afterwards.

Hmmm ... maybe she isn't Alma ... but she could be ...

I am certain they will bring her back up ... I am sure she is mixed in with this mystery somehow ...

I guess I could be thrown because she is also a redhead ...

What is up with Orson and reds? LOL

Alma
Monique
Bree
Psychiatric hopsital woman that doesn't talk and looks out the window ...

Hmmm ... does somebody have a LUCY complex?

Orson's got some 'splainin to dooooooooo!

Oh my god, could this show get any better?!
I LOVED Lynette's threat towards Nora. That b*tch had it coming a long time now. I'm so glad Tom apologised. His actions have been childish and very selfish towards his family. Susan, I think, is really going to regret jumping into this with Ian. I have a feeling Mike's memory will be restored faster than we think. Gabby and Carlos are stepping into dangerous territory. Violence is now getting physical, and I have a feeling it might end in a horrible way (remember, Carlos has been extremely phsyical with Gabby before. Bree was actually the weak link in this episode, and don't have much comment on.

On a side note: The actor that plays Ian is now bothering me more than ever. That guy has got to learn to pull off a decent accent. He is messing up so many words, it just comes off as completely fake!

Odd you say that, because the actor isn't faking it. He's a European actor named Dougray Scott. Notable film appearances include Prince Henry in Ever After and Moses in the recent TV adaptation of The Ten Commandments.

She was "the weakest link. goodbye" ??? I don't think so ... Bree has always had the best storylines ... and this whole Orson saga has been really good!

I felt so bad for Bree after Caroyln showed her those photos of an abused Alma ...

For real? He comes off as extremely fake. It's worse than listening to nails being scraped on a board. Ah well, maybe he's trying to gain an American accent? :P

Sheesh, I never dissed her story. This episode just wasn't very Bree-centric, and as a result far less interesting than usual.

I can't possibly begin to speculate what will happen in the next 20 minutes, but I noticed that those previously mentioned strategized-to-hide-her-pregnancy shots of Marcia Cross have already begun.
She was even holding flowers when she talked to Carolyn. :D
