Cool! I can't wait!

November is also when one of the "lead" characters is supposed to be killed off.

By the way, MSNBC.COM has a weekly recap page, much like the one for Grey's Anatomy. It's a great way to keep up with what happened in each episode. Read on for "Desperate Dirt":

Mike may have memory loss for all things concerning the past 2 years, but he still remembers his dealings with Orson in prison. Could Orson be brewing another plan to rid of Mike? This time [with all the rumors going on] I have a feeling it could be for good...

Just my 2 cents though... :)

Susan's story was pretty bland tonight, and Lynette's story doesn't seem to be inter-woven with the plot at all!

However I found, as I always do, Carlos and Gabrielle's story very entertaining. Their story is very well written.

Nicolette Sheridan is very talented. I notice this because she made me hate and love Edie at the same time. I kind of hater because she's goofing up Mike and Susan (but Susan is pretty boring anyway), but yet she plays Edie in a way that you just have to love her, no matter what heanous deeds shes commiting.

However, my favorite story is still Bree's. I think that last nights final scene with Bree and Andrew was one best acted scenes from the entire series. I find both characters very interesting, and Andrew is actually getting a heart!

It is going to be really interesting in how the writers deal with Marcia Cross' real-life pregnancy on the show. She is pregnant with twins, and couldn't be happier. We will have to watch and see if she is the one who 'disappears' from the show for a while.

In last week's TV Guide ... she was the cover story (Marcia Cross) ... and Marc Cherry said that Bree will be holding lots of flower arrangements and bags ... LOL

I totally agree with you. But I really hope Carlos and Gabby don't go through the divorce...I think they're great together.
And yes, Lynette needs to get a storyline that is more interesting.
And Teri Hatcher can take her stupid superiority complex and her shampoo commercials and die. Her character sucks and is a dirty cheater.

AGREED! I can't stand Susan! I'm to the point where I hope Mike ends up with Edie. I said to my friend while watching it last night, "Susan is such a (and I NEVER use this word) wh*re!" I know what you're thinking, so is Edie. But at least Edie doesn't run around cheating on people! Just because someone is in a coma, doesn't mean you can go and *ahem* with another person just because they're not all there at the moment! Personally, I don't think you should even sleep with anybody that you're not married to...but that's just my two cents.

Sheesh, I never thought it was possible to get so fired up about something that isn't even real.

:: NICOLETTE SHERIDAN APPRECIATION POST ::

Nicolette is a wonderful actress ... I loved her ever since I saw her in ... the most fantastic hilarious movie ... NOISES OFF ...

She really makes Edie someone you care for ... someone you hate ... and someone you enjoy watching ...

The mostly use Edie to play the slut ... say the wrong thing at the wrong time ... say the thing most people are thinking in their head ... so I am glad when they actually integrate her into the storyline ...

Nicolette is very good at the comedy ... and quite good at the drama ...

Gotta love her ... and let's hope that she isn't the "lead" character that dies in November's grocery store shoot-out ...

Get ready for some SCOOPS ...

The new issue of TV Guide has a nice feature on the new residents of Wisteria Lane ...

Now ... if you do not like scoops and spoilers ... please totally disregard this post ...

Now ... if you are dying for some spoilers ... and sneak peeks ... Get ready for some juicy ... juicy info ...
-- DOUGRAY SCOTT :: "Ian Kavanaugh"
Marc Cherry says :: "This is going to be a real romance. It'll last all season." But there'll be bumps along the way.

-- KIERSTEN WARREN :: "Nora Huntington"
Marc Cherry says :: "There's a really ugly showdown between Nora and Lynette in the October 29th episode."

-- JOSH HENDERSON :: "Austin McCann"
The sexual tension between Austin and Julie hits a high point in November. Josh Henderson says :: "There are a lot of people who do not want them getting together. It's kind of Romeo and Juliet deal."

-- KATHLEEN YORK :: "Monique"; the mystery woman from the morgue
We'll see Monique in flashbacks before her character builds to a major story line in the middle of the season.

-- LAURIE METCALF :: "Carol Bigsby"
All that sniffing around is going to take its toll on Carol when she has a nervous breakdown that will have huge consequences for everyone on Wisteria Lane. Marc Cherry says :: "She's a key player in the hostage crisis episode [November 5.]"

-- BRIAN KERWIN :: "Harvey Bigsby"; Carol's husband
Harvey starts backing away from Carol as she becomes more and more obsessed with Orson. This doesn't go over well with Carol, especially after she finds out hubby Harvey had been getting cozy with a certain redhead. Marc Cherry :: "Harvey has a connection to the mystery with Orson and the body in the morgue."

-- DIXIE CARTER :: "Gloria Hodge"; Orson's cantankerous mother
Dixie Carter says :: "Gloria is really frightening. I did a scene in which I tell Orson I'm sorry I didn't smother him in the crib, that's how awful she is." But that's not the only reason Orson has her stashed away in a nursing home -- and away from Bree. Turns out mama's hiding a lot of her darling boy's secrets.

-- MATT ROTH :: "Art Washburn"
He moves into Paul Young's house, and his own dark secrets will soon be revealed.
Matt Roth is married to Laurie Metcalf. Marc Cherry says that Matt and Laurie are in an episode together and Matt has to throw a can of peaches at Laurie.

Matt is going to save the day for one of the housewives ... TV Guide had previously reported that it will be Lynette.

The grocery store hostage situation will be on the November 5th episode ... Over the summer TV Guide reported that all or the majority of the housewives will be involved in the hostage situation ... and the one of the housewives would be wounded and that one of the housewives would be killed ...

In one of the more recent issues TV Guide included an exact quote from Marc Cherry that said that one of the "lead" characters would be killed during the hostage situation ...

Now ... we have to remember that during the first season ... there were reports that a housewife would be killed ... and it turned out to be Mrs. Huber ... so ... we will see which "lead" character will be terminated on November 5th ...

Thanks for all the juicy details, Rowlf_The_Dog!

I really can't believe that one of the housewives will be killed off. If they are serious, that it is a lead housewife, I just can't imagine the show without any one of them. Oh, the suspense!

I can't wait. I'm excited about seeing more of Laurie Metcalf. She was great on Roseanne, and she can really do great drama! I'm also excited about Dixie Carter. It sounds like she's got a deliciously evil character to portray!

I am so glad you liked the scoops ...

I was so excited as I read the article ...

Now ... I didn't say that the one killed will be a lead housewife ...

I said that when they first reported it ... it was said that the person killed would be one of our housewives ...

But it was shortly corrected with a quote by Marc Cherry saying the person that will be killed will be a "lead" character ...

I know that you didn't say that it would be a lead housewife. I've read that, before Marc Cherry said a "lead" character. If you ask me, the housewives are the lead characters. However, if it will not be a housewife that is killed off, my money is on Mike. I mean, last season, James Denton (who plays Mike), told Marc Cherry that, if they do not have much planned for his character, he would be glad to move on. So, maybe that is who will be killed off.

Oooo that would be interesting ...

But ... that may make the Orson mystery suffer ... since Mike may be an integral part of it ...

Yet again ... they could show Mike's involvement through flashbacks ...

I still think we are going to see the woman from the psychiatric hospital soon ... and I think Mike's somehow involved with why she was put there ...

Juicy ... Juicy ... Juicy!

Ok ... This has been bugging me for a while now ...

I'm curious to know the title and artist behind the song used on most of DH's commercials ...

It's a jazzy song ... it starts of with lots of "ba-da-ba-da"s ... does anyone know what it is?

WOW! It sounds like this season is going to be a lot more intense than I thought.

The show hasn't been as impressive as previous seasons lately, so I was loosing interest, but now I'm going to have to keep watching!

"Nice She Ain't" was the episode that aired tonight ... and YES! we are back after last week's debacle ...

From the start ... talking about sabotage ... and the "lovely carpet" ... to the plate throwing dinner ... and excellent lamb ...

Bree made sure that Danielle nipped her teacher-student relationship in the bud ... by threatening the professor ... can we say jailbait?

So Danielle of course is doing her version of a temper tantrum ... throwing her plate ... which leads Bree to tell Orson to remind her to pick up some paper plates LOL ... then she storms off ... and does what can only be described as the worst suicide attempt ever! She cuts her wrists with a spoon LOL ... So off to the hospital for a stomach pump and an appointment for some familial counseling ...

After some quite funny suicide jokes from Andrew ... Orson explodes ... saying that suicide isn't something to laugh at ...

Austin approaches Julie ... he needs some tutoring in English ... and Julie reluctantly accepts ... charging him $15 an hour ... Austin had Julie's friend Sarah hot and bothered ... Austin arrives ... with beer ... and spills his life story to Julie ... hmmm is a crush brewing?

At therapy ... Danielle Hodge makes a striking revelation ... she has power over Bree because Bree doesn't want Danielle to hurt herself ... So she threatens to runaway to never return if she interferes with her restarting her relationship with her professor or if Bree gets the professor fired ... Danielle storms off and Bree says to the therapist :: "So ... what do we owe you for all this PROGRESS?" LOL

So Tom has finally found his true calling ... he wants to open his own pizza parlor ... now Lynette wants to be supportive ... so she gives the idea the "ok" ... but Nora thinks she should get Tom to reconsider ...

Gaby arrives home to find her bedroom filled with candles and champagne ... is Carlos trying to seduce Gaby??? Nope! He's got his own slut in the tub LOL ... Well for revenge ... Gaby brings a date over ... and it is an award-winning rival Latino business man Phil Lopez ... Off to the hot tub Gaby says ... She asks if he brought his suit ... He says that she told him not to bring one ... and Gaby says :: "Not in front of Arlos-cay" LOL

:: The War of the Roses 2006 ::
Round 1 -- Carlos Solis
Round 2 -- Gaby Solis

And now to our next fight ... Edie vs Susan ... Susan finds out that Edie has been feeding Mike mis-information ... that's why Mike has been so cruel and cold to her ... Edie even got the new nurse to believe that she's Mike's girlfriend ... and had security escort Susan out LOL

Now back to our main event ... Gaby positions the bed to pound next to Carlos' room's wall ... and boy is she going at it ... her date can't wait to do the dirty deed but Gaby isn't into him ... all she needs is some loud moans and groans to get Carlos angry ... Carlos fed up with the noise goes down to the front porch ... where he sees Phil leaving ... but hes being blocked in by Gaby's car ... so when he goes in to get her keys ... he hears her moaning and yelling still LOL ... he catches her dirty scheme and says that she didnt go all the way because she still cares ... Carlos offers breakfast in bed so that they can talk about their relationship ... "It's a date" Gaby says ...

:: The War of the Roses 2006 ::
Round 3 -- Gaby Solis
Round 4 -- Carlos Solis

... it's morning ... and Carlos arrives with a beautifully filled tray with an array of breakfast foods ... to find Gaby in bed with a total stranger ... she says she found the hunk late in the night ... and went at it for hours ... "Did I hurt you this time?"

:: The War of the Roses 2006 ::
Round 5 -- Gaby Solis with a TKO!

Susan breaks Mike out of the hospital to take him to Wisteria Lane to try and trigger some memories ... She almost falls and her remembers that she is a klutz ... but he asks about the British guy ... and Susan says that she just needed someone to talk to because the doctors said that he may not ever wake up from the coma ... the nurse and Edie arrive and Mike asks to go back to the hospital ... Susan and Edie have a little confrontation and Susan says to Edie :: "How do you sleep at night?" which Edie replies "Soon ... with Mike on top of me" LOL

The Monique Mystery continues ... the cops have noticed that there is a number written on Monique's hand ... they finally get all the numbers and call it ... and it's Mike Delfino plumbing ...

Bree visits the professor and brings Danielle's things ... with a little blackmail ... the professor decides to break up with Danielle ... and Bree makes sure that he doesn't mention her name as he breaks up with Danielle ...

Julie ends up catching Austin in a very naughty situation with her friend Sarah ... can we say jealous? LOL

So Danielle tells Bree that it's off with her professor ... and she told the principal and got him fired ... and when he called her ... Danielle recorded the convo and played it for his wife ... so he is getting nothing in the divorce LOL

Nora is a little bi*** ... She told Lynette to crush Tom's dream ... Yet she goes and encourages Tom to go after his dream ... sabotage!

Oh, my gosh! Man, this season of Desperate Housewives is so freaking good! I hope that this continues throughout the whole season! They are certainly off to a great start!!!

I've got too much to do, tonight, to go into much detail. Here are my favorite parts.

Bree undermining Danielle's relationship with her teacher. Then, Danielle trying to kill herself. I know suicide is a serious matter, but, the way they played that scene was hilarious.

Gabrielle and Carlos. This story has taken center stage, with Eva Longeria really laying it all on the line, this season. Their story, tonight, with Gabby trying to make Carlos think that she was involved in a majorly hardcore sexual situation with that guy that Carlos knows, was absolutely hilarious. Great stuff!

Tom and Lynette. I understand why Lynette is not exactly excited about Tom opening a pizza restaurant. However, Nora (that bitch!) really is playing this one. She is turning Tom against Lynette, and I can't stand it. Why?! I wish that they would get rid of this Nora character, all together!

Oh, Evil Edie was out, in full force. It looked like Mike was finally going to start remembering his time with Susan, when Edie came in, and made sure that didn't happen. It's too bad, because I still think Susan and Mike should be together, before I'd ever want to see Mike with Edie.

The mystery with Monique is heating up. A number that was found written on her skin, lead to Mike's Plumbing! Hmmmm. Has Orson set Mike up, or is Mike a murderer. I'm starting to think that they are going to reveal that Mike is much more dangerous than we could ever imagine. Very interesting!

Next week's episode looks to be another great one! I'm so happy that Desperate Housewives is back in top form!

Whoo! Tonight was a doozy. All of the stories are actually getting somewhere!

Susan's and Lynette's stories were more entertaining than recently (with Lynette's looking great for next week!)

Bree's story was hilarious as usual (but I got a little worried when Orson freaked out at the hospital. Is this a sign of things to come? I hope not.) And I agree that they showed the serious issue of suicide as somewhat comical (I liked Andrew's "Oh no, maybe next time she'll jump off the porch")

Gabby and Carlos' story was as good as ever. I loved the whole scene when Gabby was rocking the bed, and Carlos came up, pure gold.

Can't wait for next week!

I'm starting to really like Andrew...

Bree is great! She is really handling Danielle well. But Orson continues to freak me out. When he shouted at Andrew, I turned to my friend and said, "I would never let a man who is not my dad yell at me like that." I was waiting for Andrew to fly off the handle back at Orson.

Susan is so depressing. Granted, Edie is a b*tch, but Susan is stooping to her level and it is not a good look for her.

The Austin/Julie is pretty funny. I would never have pegged Julie for the Austin-type, but maybe that's the attraction. I can see her getting in too deep and Susan having to bail her out of a bad situation (hostage situation? ).

Lynette is SO my favorite! I love her, but I cry for her. She's always so misunderstood and outspoken. Next week looks AMAZING! I hope she kicks Nora's @$$!

Gabby and Carlos are so meant for each other. And by the looks of next week's episode, they finally realize that. They spend so much time tearing each other down, but they're just waisting time.

Orson runs Mike over...Orson's wife disappeared years ago...mysterious body of Monique...Mike has no memory of the past two years...Mike's phone number on her arm...
WHAT IS THE DEAL???
:pan: Love It.
