I don't know. That'd be cool, but at this point I'm kind of hoping more that they start releasing this stuff on DVD. I used to frantically record any Disney animated show (got choosier when they started making some crappy stuff for One Saturday Morning), but I finally got out of that habit and would prefer to buy nice DVD sets of everything... Not that I'm loaded with moolah, but even gradually if I have to.

And speaking of Animated Classics, did anyone else catch The Rescuers on the Disney Channel yesterday? I thought that was interesting...
OOH I did see the rescuers!! yeah that was very interesting and random too! lol, i watched it, its funny becuz I bought the DVD like months ago and I never sat down to watch it. So I finally watched it when it came on Disney Channel and I remembered how much i liked it. Disney Channel should air some more animated classics. I remember when I saw the Lion King once and The Little Mermaid. Mulan and Pocahontus came on a couple of times...I dont recall ever seeing Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast on Disney Channel though.

Re: Disney Channel News!
I'm scared to say I have to agree. I used to think the show was crap based on commercials, but I actually watched a few episodes before school started and the show is not that bad. It has similar humor to I guess the Looney Tunes cartoons (but a lot less anvils) which is probably why a lot of Disney fans don't like the show. The characters were an interesting pair too. It was like a kid's version of the Odd Couple I guess.Pluto Region1 wrote:Well my husband said that he thought of all the Disney cartoon series that Brandy & Mr. Wiskers was the one that was worth watching (he also says Timon/Pumbaa one is good too). He made me sit down one day and watch an episode and I had to agree with him, so I'm surprised so many here don't like it. Sad to see it canceled.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this news makes me sad because we don't get the Disney Channel here at school. It's a good thing though b/c it would make me not do HW. Lol. Speaking of HW...I should be leaving and doing that now!!

they really should make a new "disney channel!" they have "toon disney" but they should do one for shows like: so weird, jett jackson, the jersey, lizzy mcguire, even stevens, phil...just to show reruns of the new and old shows! and then put brandy and whiskers etc..on toon disney cuz duh...theyre toons!
I never used to like the Disney Channel much but this past summer I started watching it and liking it (what can I say? I can only watch the same episodes of SpongeBob, Jimmy Neutron, Fairly OddParents, and Danny Phantom so many times
)
I really like Hannah Montana actually
And Suite Life and Phil of the Future are great too. Raven isn't so bad either but it's not my favorite. I also really like Life with Derek.
And I'm VERY happy to be able to watch the Little Mermaid series. Fortunately I usually start work at 2 PM every day and Little Mermaid is on at 12:30 here
Timon and Pumbaa is also pretty good as is Buzz Lightyear, but not as good as Little Mermaid.
Oh yeah and I like Kim Possible too.

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.
I like the old That's so raven better than the new ones, i like kim possible too and the suite life is alright but they're always the same four shows, Hannah montana annoys me because she is so fake but i like old shows like recess, that's ace! I LOVE all the the movies except Cheetah girls, that has to be the worst film ever made ever ever, i hate it. I love HSM adn the halloweentowns cause they star Lucas G xox

Take Hannah Montana, Cheetah Girls, Raven, Lizzie, and all the others and put them on a slow boat to China for all I care. I am ticked that they don't show "Breakfast With Bear" in the mornings anymore. That means we get no episodes of "The Wiggles" or "Rolie Polie Olie" and my grandkids are really upset. Thank goodness I have DVR'd and duped about 40 episodes so I can placate them until we figure out what the heck Disney is going to do.

The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!

Yeah, she was better before she went paperclip. That's why I appreciate Raven so much...because she's not buying into that image and she's promoting it in her clothing line.
And as for her being from Texas, she ws born in Houston. I went to high school in the houston area and knew her cousin.

You knew her cousin? Ha, I'd always be bothering the cousin to hook me up, ha. Last year, just before she got sooo skinny, I caught Hilary's concert in Corpus Christi. That was a really fun roadtrip with my best friend, though we didn't get to sit together and Hilary was waaay far away. The funny thing was, she had a concert in our home town the day before, but that wasn't advertised well or something, not even on the website, so we ended up getting tickets to the one in Corpus...
Hilary Duff looked great up untill 2005. somewhere around then she seemed to get unnaturally thin, and her teeth look bigger for some reason. I cant tell if its just the weight shes lost, or if that's just the look she grew up into. but I definitely prefer her before 05. its amazing how fast she changed.

I still adore her, but the changes are sad, mainly because they weren't natural changes. She capped her teeth, and that's mostly why they suddenly looked huge. No idea why she did that, she had beautiful teeth. Maybe they could have used a little whitening, but that's no big. Anyways, on top of that, she lost A LOT of weight. She might have put on some since she wasn't appearing on TV much and it was hard to keep track, but I certainly never saw her when she needed to lose weight. Anyways, she has always said it was just a natural weight loss, but that seems very unlikely since her older sister lost a bunch of weight at exactly the same time. Looks like they both went on some sort of weight loss plan together. Anyway, on the cover of her "Most Wanted" album, it's clear that she looks thin to an unhealthy point. She looks a little better lately, but I personally prefer her when she looked like a healthy young girl rather than the current starlette stereotype. I'm a little disappointed that she fell into that mold. Never thought she would. However, I still adore her and am very happy she hasn't started taking her clothes off or making slutty albums or whatever, which is also far too common. I just hope her boyfriend and his bro are never successful in talking her into getting a tattoo. Scarring up her gorgeous, creamy complexion would be both a sin and a crime.Kyle wrote:Hilary Duff looked great up untill 2005. somewhere around then she seemed to get naturally thin, and her teeth look bigger for some reason. I still think that Lizzy MG is one of the best shows created by Disney Channel. Hillary is hot and as the years went on all the actors became more skilled. What I wish what they would do is re-make a Lizzy show about her being in College, A more adult type of show that they could air perhaps on ABC?
I thought Mister Whisker was not too bad. But the Buzz on M is just EWWWWW. Phill was good but im not sorry it got cancled. I just hope with my heart and soul they might show the GUMMIE BEARS AND DUCKTALES again!

Yeah. I never thought her teeth looked horse-like until she got them capped.Kyle wrote:she capped her teeth? wow, I had no idea. people have always kinda picked on her teeth being horse like, but I never saw it myself untill the caps were put on.
As for her falling into the starlet mold, I don't think she fell completely into it. At least she's not following the footsteps of other Disney-born stars (Britney, Christina, Lindsey). For the most part, I think she maintains a healthy body image and her music isn't disgusting.

Yeah, I mentioned that too. I'm really glad she hasn't sunken into that. And I think she's gotten healthy looking again, but I still think the capped teeth are a shame and that she's thinner than "normal."numba1lostboy wrote: As for her falling into the starlet mold, I don't think she fell completely into it. I agree that Lizzie was one of the best shows of the "new style" Disney Channel. I'm glad they're not doing a college Lizzie show though (yet). We don't need yet another college show, and they are all pretty much the same. Even Smallville, my favorite show, has sunk to that level. You'd think it would be possible to make a college show that didn't make all college kids out to be shallow horndogs (no, they're not ALL like that). Maybe they could buck the trend with Lizzie, but I just don't trust them to.

Yeh perhaps you are right. Dawsons Creek, Smallvile, The O.C... if you look at them a lot you notice that they all follow the same patterns and stereo types. But mabey they could make the Disney show more about love and stuff. I dont want to sound stupid but with Dawsons Creek I enjoyed most of it when Joey was at college and got stuck in the whole dating scene. I liked it because she seemed so different then the now days stereotype college girl. And in truth now im at Uni I do notice A LOT of those stereotype girls. They just want to drink and have sex. They think that that is what all guys want. But it actually makes them repulsive. The more prude and conservative a girl is the more interesting they are to guys.
I know DC wasnt an amazing show, but it kept me entertained. Hillary Duff looks very good though. I do agree on her teeth that they might be a bit too XXL but she really grew up. Compare her to the Lizzy shows and she has really developed and now she looks hot.
