I met all of Hawk Nelson. They're a Christian Rock band and most of you probably don't know who they are. They aren't as big as bands like Relient K, but they're getting there.

Hopefully someday I'll be able to post that I met Ashlee Simpson. I think it's safe to say that I'm her biggest fan. :D

I'm related to Mark and Donnie Wahlberg. Through marriage. My cousin married their cousin. When I was a kid, Mark called on my birthday to prove to my classmates I wasn't lieing. And Donnie sent me an autographed pic of him and the other New Kids on the Block. They all signed it, lol

Yeah, I did that once. My friends didn't believe that I was related to Joely Fisher, but the next day I brought in my signed picture of her & they ate their words. It's the best, there's a strong feeling of pride after those moments.

YAY! Somebody knows who they are! :D

But yes, I met them at one of their concerts this past May. If they ever come to your city, you should definitely go! They do meet and greets after all of their shows...well usually.

I met a celebrity on Saturday. I had just finally graduated from school in New Orleans (yes, I used to live there, yes I moved because of Katrina, yes I evacuated before the storm hit). I went to the French Quarter with some family, in-laws, and a friend. We were sitting there when my wife said there was someone passing by the restaurant who looked just like George Lucas. I went outside and I said, "Mr. Lucas?" He said, "Yes?" Then I just said, "I enjoy your movies." He replied with "Thank you." I am a big Star Wars fan and I wanted to ask him a few questions about the story of Star Wars but he seemed to want to avoid brining attention to him self so I just let him go. He was friendly but quiet, like I said, I think he didn't want to attract attention.

A couple of years ago, when I worked at Publix (a grocery store) in Tampa, several Buccaneers used to come in the store regularly. I met Derek Brooks, Jacquez Green, and there was a defensive linemen we used to see a lot but his name escapes me.
My avatar is from Tony's Town Square Restaurant. What else would we do over a plate of spaghetti with meatballs?

I have a friend in Los Angeles, who every year blows me away with a Holiday phone call from a celebrity. I don't know how he gets them to do it, but he does, and with me off work since October 7th, and not going back to work until sometime in January, I have been at an all-time low because of this holiday season not being what it should have been.

Too make a long story short, Brian, has had people like Robin Williams, James Cameron, Sylvester Stallone, Clint Eastwood and more call me at home to wish me a good Holiday season, and this morning was no different.

I just got off the phone with Brian, and he had me talk with Bob Barker from the Price is Right television show. What a nice guy, and he really seemed concerned about me not working because of my foot problems. We had a conversation that lasted about eight minutes, and now my Holiday season will be brighter thanks to my friend in Los Angeles.

I've only met celebrities from my country so I think it would be pointless to name them. I'll only say that I've met Helena Paparizou because some European UDers and Eurovision fans may know her.

Okay, I did a major re-edit of this since it was all clumped together

Singers:

Gwen Stefani - Went to her concert, almost met her

Athletes:

B.C Lions Team - Met the team, got autoraphs, threw a football around etc.

Vancouver Canucks - Met a few members here and there

Movie Parts:

My mom was in Car Pool, where the Van goes up the escaltor, if you pause it or slow it down she's a purple blur  She was also an extra in Rocky 4 I think, the one with Dolph Lundgren, she says they stopped filming because Stallone ripped his shorts

They filmed the Highway Accident scene on the highway outside of town in Final Destination 2

Actors/Actresses

Sandra Bullock - Passed by her in Victoria, while my dad was in surgery

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell - Their son plays on our hockey team, they are so nice

Mickey Mouse - among other characters when I went to Disneyland

Jessica Alba - Saw her shopping in Vancouver

Cast of Smallville - They film in Abbotsford and Cloverdale just outside of Vancouver

I know who Hawk Nelson are! Do you know who Stellar Kart is?

Anyways, I only met one celebrity (well, not formally), it was about 7 years ago. We were in The Hamptons (in NY), and I was going with my cousins to see the (awful, IMHO) movie Chicken Run. As we were going in, Christie Brinkley was waiting in her car (for her daughter). She was brushing her hair, and acting casual. Someone (I forgot who) waved at her, and she waved back. It was pretty cool!

Also, this is a little OT, but there were so many times when my friend's mom has been mistaken for Sandra Bullock. It's funny! Also, many people used to mistake me for Daniel Radcliffe. It was funny whenever someone came up to me, I was like "Uhm...no?"

OMG Mr. Toad you met Shaun Michaels? I don't care about him, but my cousin absolutely LOVES him, it's like a freaky obsession  As soon as you walk in her room theres posters of him EVERYWHERE on the ceiling, well him and Zac Efron and jesse McCartney, lol and Owen Wilson but mostly Shaun Michaels now  She has a wall for each of them, and Shaun Michaels gets the ceiling for some odd reason, I don't want to know why  Anyways ya, that was rather off-topic oh well lol Oh wait, according to my Grandma, we're half-related to Debbie Travis (does she count as a celeb?)
