Are you saying that The Simpsons is better than Animaniacs or Pinky & the Brain?

The Simpsons went out with stale bread about four seasons ago. The movie is going to flop big time, they have lost their usefullness and should be put out to pasture while they are still on top.

Just my opinion.

"Animaniacs" and "Pinky & the Brain" rule on July 25th.

Nothing for me. I was going to get Brisco County, Jr., but I don't want to spend $75 on one set. So I'll just wait around until it gets cheaper.
Since I can't tell where you live by your profile, I will tell you that 'Brisco County Jr' will not even be close to $75 when it is released.

Here in the real world (U.S.A.) the MSRP is just that, a suggested retail price, but most all of the stores will have it for considerably less. Best Buy will have it for less than $50 the first week. It may never go down in price. Look at CSI, or even most of the Star Trek shows, they are still close to $80 or more even today. Your chance of finding it for less will probably be better if you look at a used DVD store.

Oh, and Pals, don't forget next week - July 25 - is the big week. The first four titles on your list better be: Animaniacs, Pinky & the Brain, JAG, and Rawhide.

As for this week, only "Briscoe County Jr." for me. Can't wait for the next big week, next week. Also Sunday, July 23, is my birthday, so that is also one good reason for remembering about the 'big four' releases that are coming out. And the fact that I have almost $200 in Reward Zone Gift Certificates doesn't hurt either.

Oh, I live in Canada. It costs $87 CDN here. Most sets here cost $20-50 dollars. I have never seen one in the $87 dollar range except Sopranos.

Overstock.com had ATL for $0.00 last night so I put in an order...if they cancel it, they cancel it and I'll rent it. But that's it for me.

Nothing for me this week. I've loved Ren and Stimpy since I was five, but Adult Party Cartoon broke my heart. I'm going to pretend that the "Lost Episodes" DVD doesn't exist.

Thanks for the correction. I have been waiting for this to come out for years. I guess one more week won't kill me.

Yes but this is not the Simpsons of the last four years, this is the Simpsons at their height. Downhill does not start until season 10 or 11.

Quote from Animaniacs Review:
The digipak, which has an episode breakdown, comes in a slipcase, that's designed with matte silver foil and embossed, spot glossy coating. It's really a nice-looking set, and more adult-oriented in design than one might expect.
Yay, an episode guide! I don't care if it's a seperate book or not. I'd rather not have it be a book because Warner will more likely have a list in later volumes if they were printed right on the case; if it were a book, they might not do it for the later sets.

And yay for an adult-oriented dvd set!

Too bad it's grainy, I wish WB could've restored them. But I guess I should be thankful they're actually releasing it.
