For me my first pick would be The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr.: The Complete Series totally. This was one of my favorite shows since X-Files, M.A.N.T.I.S. and Dark Angel.

The Best of She-Ra - Princess of Power would be second follow by some DVD's on special at Best Buy or Circuit City.

If I have any extra money, I'm going to get Road House: Deluxe Edition as a present for my sick mother. She loves that movie.

I remember thinking that looked so funny in previews. But then I saw more than 30 minutes of What a Girl Wants (I think that was the title)... It was bad, really really bad.

Nothing for me. I was going to get Brisco County, Jr., but I don't want to spend $75 on one set. So I'll just wait around until it gets cheaper.

I don't think The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr.: The Complete Series will ever be lower if it is it probably just be $30 at least. Plus I probably use my $40 Reward Zone Gift Certificates. For She-Ra I'll use the 12% off.

I'll probably get my friend Sherri the She-ra best of as a late birthday present if she doesn't get for herself with her birthday money. I wish it was a complete season set instead of best of.
Dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.

It will be coming out later this year as a set. They are just doing now what they did with He-Man. :)

I liked She-Ra growing up, but I'm not willing to spend money on it now. No sale this week.

Since I can't tell where you live by your profile, I will tell you that 'Brisco County Jr' will not even be close to $75 when it is released.

Here in the real world (U.S.A.) the MSRP is just that, a suggested retail price, but most all of the stores will have it for considerably less. Best Buy will have it for less than $50 the first week. It may never go down in price. Look at CSI, or even most of the Star Trek shows, they are still close to $80 or more even today. Your chance of finding it for less will probably be better if you look at a used DVD store.

Oh, and Pals, don't forget next week - July 25 - is the big week. The first four titles on your list better be: Animaniacs, Pinky & the Brain, JAG, and Rawhide.

As for this week, only "Briscoe County Jr." for me. Can't wait for the next big week, next week. Also Sunday, July 23, is my birthday, so that is also one good reason for remembering about the 'big four' releases that are coming out. And the fact that I have almost $200 in Reward Zone Gift Certificates doesn't hurt either.

Maybe at your Best Buy, but here in Wichita, the first week ad shows it to be $54.99..............so that is why I some time question why we quote prices to people in other parts of the U.S., because Best Buy and Circuit City will have different prices for different areas of the country. It is all about location - location - location!!!

Doesn't matter what the cost "Briscoe County jr." will be worth it's weight in the entertainment value it will provide us fellow junkies for the next few months or years.

Just can't wait for the 25th of July to arrive.

Fox didn't think Brisco County, Jr. was ratings wise for renew back in 1995 but they should have moved it to a better night.
Why does Fox put all the good Dramas on Friday...Brisco, M.A.N.T.I.S., X-Files, Firefly and Dark Angel?
