If it's Christmas related.. I like it! I'm sure I'll have no problem going to the movies to see it, and then owning it on DVD.. or hopefully the trilogy box set!

Santa Clause 3?
Does anyone know if there is going to be a Santa Clause 3? Someone mentioned it to me and I was like I don't know.

I say to myself as I do declare, I am smarter than the average Bear. Sarah Beth Keeley rocks!!!
Yes, it's TRUE!

I still haven't seen the second movie, so I'll definitely watch it soon. I liked the first one, so it will be interesting how this one turns out.

Ugh...Martin Short needs to just go away. And Tim Allen needs to stop begging. The Santa Clause was probably the best christmas movie ever (second only to Prancer and A Christmas Story), and these are useless sequels.
Although the plot for this one looks mor interesting than the plot used for the second film.
And no David Krumholtz?!?!?

Thanks Hogi Bear. Coincidentially, I was wondering today when a SC3 trailer would be posted.
This trailer looks great. Cool idea, and I applaud the genius who's idea was to cast Martin Short as Jack Frost.
The only problem I have is bringing time-travel into the story. While a cool concept, should be used very carefully. Lets just hope it doesn't turn out like Back to The Future: Part II- The Movie with 30 Plot Holes.

Thanks as always for the save-friendly links, Hogi.

Well, this one looks like it's better than the second one (which I thought was decent). Martin Short looks hilariously-devlish as Jack. I got excited when I first saw him in the trailer because I knew it was comming, and the design seems pretty good. And as T/P fan already said, lets just hope they watch where they step with the time-travel idea, which is great on paper, but can be a bit tough to pull off. But I think it looks good so far, so count me in!

Back to the Future Part II is one of the best sequels ever made. I'd love if this was something like that (without being an unoriginal retread). If you're counting 30 plot holes in BTTF2, I'm guessing you just haven't drawn the proper conclusions. While I'm sure there are some murky issues and there's certainly no shortage of confusing complexities, I think they really did a good job of utilizing elements from the first movie and revisiting them in a clever way.Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:The only problem I have is bringing time-travel into the story. Yes if the trailer is right because they called it "The final chapter will begin in the greatest Santa story ever told.".Fidget1234 wrote:So- is this the last of TSC movies? three is the charm...right?

Shouldn’t that be "Extra Frosty Edition"?PatrickvD wrote:The Santa Clause 3: Escape Clause: Extra Juicy EditionLucylover1986 wrote:It looks pretty good actually. I'll be seeing it for sure. They should drop The Escape Clause part though from the title. The second movie had no subtitle so I don't know why they stuck one on this one.

Yes Luke, it was called an "exaggeration".Luke wrote: If you're counting 30 plot holes in BTTF2, I'm guessing you just haven't drawn the proper conclusions.
I thought BTTF2 had way too much time-travel, which kinda killed the movie for me at least, mainly because there were quite a few plot-holes(not 30, but quite a lot).
Overall, I just hope SC3 does a better job with it(even if the trailers make me nervous).
I know you were exaggerating, but I'd love to hear even a handful of what you consider plot holes. I've both pondered different things and heard others do the same and I'm currently fairly convinced that it's pretty tight and consistent. Not perfect, but certainly not with quite a lot of glaring and important plot holes. I think the Biff disappearing conundrum (which I guess was deleted) might lead to some confusion, and a lot of the rest of it requires mind-bending thought to fully understand, but nevertheless, I consider the latter quality one of the film's many positive traits. It's one thing not to like the movie (which is fine; I thought Back to the Future Part III was clearly the weak link - sorry, Netty), but to fault II for plot holes and then not point any out makes me anxious to hear what you have in mind.
