Now that is humorBehind door 3 is every abandoned sequel that never came to fruition. Titles include '103 Dalmatians', 'Home on the Range II: Two of the characters have been made into burgers', 'Old Yeller II: Zombie Dog', 'Mary Poppins II: Nanny in the 1980s ghetto' and 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame III: Extreme Makeover: Hump Edition'.
Door 4 is simply marked 'Michael (insert villainous 'Mwah ha ha ha' laugh here) Eisner's plans for world domination'. And I've never been in there.

In case the 'Vault' is accidentally destroyed by fire, flood, nuclear war or evil CEO, an exact replica of the Vault and all its contents is located in Poland.
This is referred to as the 'Pole Vault'.
Yes, it was Bambi but he didn't have to punch a code or anything he just went into a room with rubber gloves and retrieved the orginial (the original, original) movie reel. I think the reel was in an air tight container because those movies do deteriorated so they preserve it some how.jamminjake245 wrote:On one of the Platinum editions (forgot which one) there is a feature about the restoration and it shows a man punching in a code and walking into an airtight room. I think it is Bambi, but I am not sure.
Yeah, I saw a TV show on that complex, I think it was Modern Marvels or something like that. It used to be some sort of mine, but when the minerals gave out, the mining company sold it to a developer. They turned it into the commercial complex that it is now, with interior walls to separate the tenants. A lot of companies that need climate strictly controlled store fragile or sensitive items there, so that includes the Disney prints.Spottedfeather wrote:I don't know about an actual vault where they put the movies for five years or whatever, but in Kansas City or nearby Independence, Missouri (where I live. Don't remember exactly which city the vault's in.), there are a system of caves used for storage and office space. In one of the caves, there is a vault where celluloid prints of every Disney movie is stored/archived. Never been there, though. Would love to see it.
