While more and more movies seem to be created inside a computer these days, the grand live-action tradition of cinema still requires a stage for everything to unfold on (even the CGI-heavy ones!). Those sets need to not only look nice on screen, but also be fully functional in supporting the demands of the script. Someone has to make sure that all the elements of composing a sho come together for just the right look and feel, and several films impressed UDers enough in that department to earn them nominations. Those films are:

I've got another interview and this time it's with all three members of the title <i>The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe</i>.

Luke: How does it feel to be a winner, your Majesty?

White Witch: Don't waste my time with flattery.

Luke: Not to be rude, ma'am, but I was talking to the lion. Aslan?

Aslan: Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen.

Luke: I see.

White Witch: You know, Aslan, I'm a little disappointed in you. You could have dressed up for this, you know.

Aslan: What's wrong with how I look? I've groomed myself. My mane grew back in, instantly. I look very regal.

White Witch: You're naked. Put on a bowtie or something, man.

Aslan: Do not cite the Deep Magic to me, Witch. I was there when it was written.

Luke: Right. What are you wearing, Jadis?

White Witch: Oh, this old thing? It's nothing much. Ginarrbrik picked it out. Briky, are you watching back at home? You should be in bed now, little man!

Luke: And you're wearing the wood of some kind of fruit tree. Is that a fresh coat of lacquer I smell, Wardrobe?

Aslan: Um, it doesn't talk.

This year's nominees for Best Male Host of a Reality or Unscripted TV Series are an even more varied and plentiful bunch. We have yet another pop star, not to mention a multi-billionaire and a construction worker! And following Ms. Abdul's nomination in the last category, all three of her co-hosts are represented here too. The nominees are:

If you didn't already know that our next presenter loves animation, all you'd have to do is look at his name. Here to give the award for Best Animated Feature, please welcome Timon/Pumba fan!

<i>Animation is a funny thing! It has changed A LOT over the years. 50 years ago there were only 2 animation companies: Disney  and Warner Brother. Now we have multiple animations companies from Pixar to Dreamworks to Disney to whole separate studios that make crappy DTV's about ponies! And there are also so many types of animation. This year, we have 4 nominations. One animation classic with Disney, their first full-lenght CG film from WDFA without Pixar. One CG film from PDI Dreamworks (the creators of Shrek 1 and 2 and Antz) NOT Dreamworks Animation (The creators of SharkTale, Father of the Pride and the upcoming Over the Hedge). One Stop-Motion film from Tim Burton, who this time is working for Warner Brothers, NOT Touchstone, which is owned by Disney, or the main Disney branch. And finally one stop-motion film from Aardman, an animation studio from England which gets their films distributed by Dreamworks, like Disney and Pixar before Disney bought Pixar! Other animated films that didn't get nominated this year include one CGI film from Blue-Sky, which is like Dreamworks Animation, BUT NOT like PDI Dreamworks. One hand-drawn film by a Japanese studio called Ghibli. which get distributed by Disney ONLY in the U.S. and even one CG film from some studio in Englad which got distributed by Disney in America but not anywhere else like Ghibli. Confusing no? Well anyway the nominations for Best Animated film are:</i>
