I just have seen “home on the range”...that was sad...I do not even know why Disney have been released this staff, although I was not expecting a lot from this movie this was not well enough to keep me until the end (no even my son), it is incredible how a company that had created pieces like Beauty and the Beast, (to mention one of the “later” good releases) also make this staff, probably for a Sunday tv cartoon.... if was not by Pixar, I do not know where Disney animation reputation would be today...still just my opinion.

Saw Cinderella last night on Disney Channel:

It's even more boring than I remember! In fact I would rank this bore-fest 44th out of all 44 animated classics!

I've been catching up with my 'never seen before classics!'

In the past week I've watched;
Sword in the Stone
and
The Rescuers

Both were really really good! I didn't expect to like them much to be honest. Out of the two I guess I liked SITS more, simply because Madam Mim rocked, where as that weird Medusa woman seemed a bit lame to be honest. :D

As did I today!

A friend came round today, and we decided to slap this into the dvd player. She told me that she hadn't watched this in about 8 years, :P we soon put an end to that! Well, as most of you will know, I love BATB, and it soon appeared that she did too! :D

Disney movie

Post by TheSequelOfDisney »

I think that my last disney movie that I saw was Cinderella
I forgot how "enjoyable" it was. Actually, I really only watched part of it, I mostly watched the bonus features, I think I like them almost as much as I like the movie! I think the next movie that I'm going to watch is Lady and the Tramp when it comes out next Tuesday (I'm so excited!) Then, after I watch that, I'm going to have a Platinum Edition Movie Day, where I watch all of the Platinum Edition movies "hence the name" look up
I think I'm going to do that with The Little Mermaid, too. I can't wait for that movie either! It's one of my top ten!

The Reluctant Dragon. My first time to watch. I really enjoyed it.

If you don't have the Treasure with the Reluctant Dragon, you can see the sound effects section on the Dumbo DVD. It's in the bonus features under sound design.
...and so you two are absolutely identical? You know I'm sure I can get you a part in Toy Story 3... I'm sorry. Are we back? All right girls...lovely talking to you.

Lady and the Tramp

This was my second viewing, again I wasn't feeling that well but the movie didn't impress me this second time, either.

I found it boring and it feels so much longer than 76 min. Interestingly, BAMBI that is so much slower paced than LADY and that I used to find boring as well, feels much more less so with each viewing and not that boring in contrast.

This time I had to stretch the image because even tough I have a 27 inch HDTV, it got me dizzy to look at the orginal aspect ratio.

I'm glad I bought this edition, though. If I had bought the LI I would probably not have upgraded it.
