Drink of Choice :S
I'm not much of a drinker, and I haven't tried a huge variety of alcohol, either. I just know that I can't stand beer, wine is really "meh" to me, and "foo-foo" drinks that heavily mask the alcohol taste aren't my thing. On the flipside, really "hard" alcohol is gross, too - in my humble opinion.
That said, what I do like are "creamy" drinks, like Bailey's Irish Cream or crème de cacao mixed with milk. Mudslides are nummy because they basically taste like a chocolate shake!
I also luuuurve sangría mixes! :-9

I've been also working on Resident Evil pics too so I'm running a little behind plus I got to write my presentation speeches for the media awards. Dang I'm busy.bambifan56 wrote:Zol, you have those pix ready, I need a new avitar

Well, the total drinking age in England is 18. So we're oficially three years more mature than US citizens. Get that.
Sorry, I had to rub that in the faces of bored 20 years olds. And I must say that the drinking laws are generally looser over our side of the Atlantic (after not being allowed to go bowling with friends as alcohol was around in the complex, I've sadly come to that conclusion). The age limit for drinking in almost all places possible is 18, yet drinking is allowed with meals at the age of 16, and as I guess happens in America, alcohol is drunk within the home. This is where I've drunk alcohol in the past, and I think that I'm rather partial to lager, especially Becks. I also like WKD drinks as well. Being only three months now from 18 (wahoo!), I'll be able to drink without upsetting any authority soon (and no, I have no plans to go out on a bender

In the US Alcohol is drank on lots of places. You have your Bars and Restarants, Casino's, Strip Clubs and Dance Clubs, Bowling Alleys, Sporting Events and Concerts, Comedy Clubs,Airplanes and lot's of other places where Alcohol is available, You can go into a grocery store, gas station, drug store, liquor store,cost-co, wal-mart, sams and other stores to purchase it. There are vineyards in California where you can taste their wines and some places have wine tasting parties. The Drinking age is 21 here, it used to be 18.
I was in Israel in 1981 when I was 13 and I could purchase it there with no problem.

Yeah except in some states; I know here in Colorado Wal-Mart, Safeway and many mini-marts only carry 3-2 beer. While in Montana places like those are aloud to sell the "good stuff."memnv wrote:In the US Alcohol is drank on lots of places. When I used to live in Georgia the county I lived in stopped selling at 11PM and Sundays where dry, But you could go into Atlanta which was a 5 minute drive and get alcohol anytime. If I remember right the clubs in Gwinnett county (where I lived) could sell till 2AM every day.
Also te county in Tennessee where they make Jack Daniels is a dry county so you cant buy any Alcohol

Noooo! Not the misused "America" terminology again! *flail*Wonderlicious wrote:The age limit for drinking in almost all places possible is 18, yet drinking is allowed with meals at the age of 16, and as I guess happens in America, alcohol is drunk within the home.

We don't have it in Virginia either- have to drive to North Carolina to get it. We always stop on the way down to the Outer Banks. As far as I know, there aren't many states on the eastern coast that sell it. I know that NY doesn't.bambifan56 wrote:They don't sell everclear in Idaho?!?!
In VA you have to go to an ABC store to buy liquor, but can get beer and wine just about anywhere. In NY you have to buy all liquor and wine at liquor stores (no government regulation like VA- any Joe Schmoe with a license can sell), but you can get beer anywhere. Although places like BJ's in NY have a liquor store attached (at least the one my parents shop at does)- but it's not sold inside the actual store.
