Drink of Choice :S
We all seem to be of age adults here, whats everyone enjoy of the alcohol variety
? I myself am partial to a fine scotch, but being in college, mostly I can only afford Canadian Mist, on occasion I buy Wild Turkey Rare Breed and Crown Royal (only on SPECIAL occasions
) whats everyone else enjoy (if I don't drink thats fine too lol)

Bourbon and dry. That's my thing.
Not too fussy on what bourbon though

Beefeater and tonic. If I'm at home though- cheap gin and fresca (once I start making more money, I'll probably shell out for beefeater more often
)
I actually prefer the "pinecone" taste of Beefeater as opposed to the top shelf stuff.

I turned 21 in August and all i've had to drink is a Mudslide when on the rare occasion, I go out to eat with my mom or grandmother at Friday's.
I just don't feel the need to drink. People at my work think i'm crazy. They keep asking me if i've ever gotten drunk and why not.

I'm 19 and my dad buys me beer. He usually gets me: MGD, Mikes Hard Lemonade, JD, and Water Melon Bacardí (more or less for my sister but I drink it too). I don't drink that often. Probably shouldn't because I'm under age but meh... 19 (I turn 20 this year) is close enough. Well for my dad at least.

yea, as far as beer goes, I'm halfway between St. Louis and Denver (Golden, CO) so I choose between Coors and Budweiser, just to keep the money in the area
..I turn 21 in April, so I'm taking it easy until then, most times people get buster are about a month before they turn 21 :S

I drink occasionally. I have had a lifestyle change and have lost 35 lbs (Playing football at 305 last yr, I am down to 270, which is a much better weight for me at Defensive Tackle). So cutting down on food, I have almost cut out booze, when I do it's usually scotch on the rocks
so I do it once every month or so maybe.

Ditto. I turn 21 in June, and I doubt I'll be hitting up the bars getting drunk. The only alcohol I've ever consumed was:LizzieMcGuire wrote:I just don't feel the need to drink. People at my work think i'm crazy. They keep asking me if i've ever gotten drunk and why not.
1. When I was three (yes, three), we were playing at a cousin's house during a party, and they used to have a bar in one of the rooms. So I'm playing "Bar", and I go, "I want a beer". To be funny, but also to probably prove a point, my uncle actually poured me a small glass of beer and told me to finish it. I did, and didn't particularly like the taste. So even though it was a reaction when I was three, I haven't drunk beer since.
2. At a wedding on my mom's side of the family, every table had a glass of white wine, regardless if there was a kid sitting there or not. I was about 12 or so, and asked if I could have a sip. I didn't know how to properly drink wine (a sip, let it rest on the tongue, etc.), so I took a gulp that really really hurt my throat.
3. New Years 2003/2004 was pretty fun, as my sister was on the cusp of turning 21 and the party at my aunts house did have a bar. Anyways, a group of us older cousins (read: 19-27) were sitting around the counter and I go, "I'm feeling frisky tonight, gimme some alcohol." So my cousin's girlfriend lets me take a sip of her drink (cran-apple juice with rum), which I take several sips (and maybe a gulp or two) from.
Other than those three instances, the only other alcohol I've ever tasted was church wine. Originally I only drank church wine on special occasions (a funeral mass, a holiday mass, etc.). But last November, I've taken to receiving church wine during regular Sunday mass. I doubt it counts as actually drinking, though.

I will be 66 years old this year and I count the number of drinks of alcohol I have had in my life on the fingers of one hand. Never acquired the taste for alcohol or beer. Can't see what all the big fuss is about. Being a driver for a major hotel, I see all these drunks and can't see me doing things like that. Besides I had to chose, alcohol or DVD's..............by the siggy name you know what won.
Cheers!!!
