DISNEY DVDS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT ALL TIMES, NOT BE PUT BACK OUT OF PRINT! :x

I don't know what to say, I like the idea of the vault If i own the DVD. If I am trying to buy it, I wish it wasn't in the vault.

It's a Yes/No kind of situation. :P

Although I get angry that I can't get certain movies on DVD, I generally believe putting movies OOP is an overall good concept.
Best Movies of 2009:
1. Moon
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline
5. Ponyo

bunnieeprincess, why did you create two threads about the exact same topic?

That's the same with me. I'd prefer it if they didn't go out of print, but I won't go crazy if they do.

Disney puts their movies in the vault so that more people will buy them before "time runs out". If you think about it, it's a pretty good marketing plan; the only downside is that it pisses all of their customers off.

You can try eBay for OOP titles but you have to be careful because there are bootleggers out there. Amazon is another place to find them. I recenlty found Snow White for $16.99 at Gamestop. It was used but in great condition so I snapped it up.

Yes, I get mad that Disney titles do go OOP but then again they come out again in 5 to 7 years.

For example Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs came out in 2001 Disney can keep it until 2008 and when the new release comes out then the older one can go OOP.

Right?

The only ones that are REALLY hard to find are Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and BATB. Most stores usually still have copies of OOP Disney movies, or most of the ones that are OOP are now in print.

I believe most of them are available. Only a handful go back into the "vault" after a limited time. It's never been easier than it is now.

Yes, everything will be released in a cycle after about 2009.
Pals, I don't think Snow White is coming out in 2009. Remember Fantasia, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Sleeping Beauty were added to the Platinum Edition cycle in 2003. :P
