bunnieeprincess, why did you create two threads about the exact same topic?
Disney puts their movies in the vault so that more people will buy them before "time runs out". If you think about it, it's a pretty good marketing plan; the only downside is that it pisses all of their customers off.
That's the same with me. I'd prefer it if they didn't go out of print, but I won't go crazy if they do.Robin Hood wrote:I don't know what to say, I like the idea of the vault If i own the DVD. If I am trying to buy it, I wish it wasn't in the vault.

Yes, I get mad that Disney titles do go OOP but then again they come out again in 5 to 7 years.
For example Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs came out in 2001 Disney can keep it until 2008 and when the new release comes out then the older one can go OOP.
Right?

2009? That's a long ways away.MickeyMousePal wrote:Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is going to be re-release again in 2008 and Beauty and the Beast will be re-release in 2009.

Yes, everything will be released in a cycle after about 2009.bunnieeprincess wrote:that is freaking awesome. so how did you find this stuff out anyway? are they going to do this with the others
Pals, I don't think Snow White is coming out in 2009. Remember Fantasia, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Sleeping Beauty were added to the Platinum Edition cycle in 2003.
