Madonna's new album, Confessions On A Dancefloor

From what I've heard so far of "Hung Up", this is shaping up to be Madonna's real return to the top of the charts. I can't wait until it all unfolds. Personally, I can't see why she'd do all this press and her album's still got a month until release. She's not exactly the kind of artist who can do that and have it turn out to be 100% successful, she's not Christina Aguilera. Several people will tire of the anticipation. If time doesn't start going faster, I might include myself on that list.

A month really isn't that long of a wait. The single is released to radio, Monday. I believe you will be able to download it on iTunes on Tuesday. Madonna is also promoting the "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" documentary. I can't imagine anyone complaining about all of the promotion she is doing. Most fans of Madonna complain that she doesn't do enough to promote her releases. This time is VERY different. I'm going to enjoy it all!

I don't really like Madonna and her music now is worse than ever, I prefer her earlier material, it was so much better back then.

'Hung Up' is an excellent single and I'm really anticipiating the full album. I hope the song can do well on the Billboard charts. But considering the crappy route our mainstream music is at today, I'm not really expecting that,

Funny. This coming from a Mariah Carey fan. They usually don't like Madonna.

Of course, I could say the same of Mariah Carey. I used to like her, but lately, her music is terrible.

At any rate, this is not a bash Madonna, or bash Mariah Carey thread.

Well, radio stations really seem to be liking the song, and it is hitting #1 on iTunes charts all over the world. It's already in the top 10 on iTunes in America.

So, the chances are good that it will be a success. Of course, I know what you mean about the crappy mainstream music. I was listening to the radio, yesterday, which I hardly EVER do, and there was this stupid song about "The Laffy Taffy", or some crap, that was #1 on the station. Come on!!!

Calm down! After all, I am entitled to my opinion. By the way, just because I'm a Mariah fan doesn't mean that's the reason why I don't like Madonna.

Victoria Newton of The Sun wrote the first review of the album. And apparently...IT'S GOOOOOD! Yes! What makes me happy is that it's ALL dance/electronica! I can't wait to hear it. And even better, ther'e NO BALLADS! Woot!

For me though, the only downer? She seems to have sampled a lot of past songs,too. That's not the Madonna I listened to.

Hey, lets not talk negative about anyone, especially since no one here knows Madonna or Mariah. People should stop talking about past songs and albums, because if we talk about the past, then all we really want is for the current music to sound like the old music which is regressive, so move on folks. Music is what it is... Music, nothing to get defensive over, everyone has different tastes.

Anyway, I love 'Hung Up.' Really catchy and I downloaded it on iTunes and have already listened to it 12 times and I'm sure more to come.
