parenttrap/freakyfriday
haven't seen freaky fridays remake yet but i thought the parent trap was very well done. i agree with those who liked lindsey lohan. i thought she did a great job and was very charming. i'm really glad they didn't use actual twins and stuck to the old school. with 2 disney remakes underher belt maybe she could be the new generations hayley mills.

Re: parenttrap/freakyfriday
I think that I will always prefer the original Halley Mills to any new pop star who thinks they are cool. Besides the fact, Halley did not do Freaky Friday, Jodi Foster did, and someone remade Halley's That Darn Cat (have no idea what girl that was, cause didn't want to see it!!!)donaldduckfan wrote:haven't seen freaky fridays remake yet but i thought the parent trap was very well done. i agree with those who liked lindsey lohan. i thought she did a great job and was very charming. i'm really glad they didn't use actual twins and stuck to the old school. with 2 disney remakes underher belt maybe she could be the new generations hayley mills.

hayley/jodie
yeah i know it was jodie foster in freaky friday. i was just talking about the fact that if disney continues to put lindsey lohan in their movies, it'll be "kind of" like hayley mills relationship with disney. when i think of jodie foster i don't think "disney movie actress" but hayley mills fits that bill(although she's been wonderful in other work she's done outside of disney) and i couldn't agree more about preferring the originals to the remakes, but the remakes aren't bad. as far as the "that darn cat" remake, it stunk. and christina ricci does not seem like a good choice for a disney movie to me.

It's odd that two of the supplements are classified twice with different run times.

I can only guess that like on the Simpsons Season 2 set, they also have commentaries which over run the actual footage (like how the Do The Bartman commentary substantially over ran the actual footage) - so the (slightly) longer version will have a commentary?

I think that's wrong Cherny, as I think it's going to be reviewed on Film 2004 tomorrow on BBC1 in the UK - meaning it probably opens this Friday.
But I could be wrong, I only caught a brief snippit of the show last week where I thought I saw them mention it for this weeks show.
