Does somebody know when will be released a trailer or something?

Is more than a year, I can't wait such a long time...

They took us to a magical journey under the sea, they show us how a beautiful girl can look into a heart of a beast, they even made us fly on a magic carpet...

The first 80-second trailer is going to be on Cinderella when it's released October 4th. The first post in this thread has 4 screencaps from the trailer.

After all, the trailer is on the Cinderella DVD.
Was there preliminary art for Cinderella and Lady in the Tramp included with the Bambi: Platinum Edition release? Just wondering...

Ay no! Disney needs to change that shell a bit, maybe a bit more gold?

The Bambi Platinum Edition DVD had a booklet called the "Disney DVD Insider". In the booklet, they had two pages about the Cinderella DVD. The first page just had a picture of Cinderella with the coach in the background, and a picture of Lucifer the cat was next to a "fun fact" about how an animator based Lucifer off his own calico cat.Tthe next page talked about the movie's release a little bit, and had a small picture of preliminary artwork for the DVD. There wasn't any artwork for Lady and the Tramp in the booklet or any of the DVD's other inserts, but Bambi was a Spring (March) Platinum Edition release, which does get as much hype or attention as the Fall (usually October) releases. For example, Aladdin and Cinderella have Collector's Gift Sets, but Bambi does not.

I'm really happy about this!!! I know time will pass fast. I'm very sure that there will be lots of 'The Little Mermaid - Special Edition' merchandise out there just like they've put out many Cinderella things since this summer. That makes me VERY HAPPY and excited!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I'm sure because Cinderella and Ariel are supposed to be the characters that sell most... lol...
I just hope the cover art of the DVD is nice... Phil Barnhart doesn't do that well with the princesses... he makes Cinderella look fat, chubby and ugly... poor Cindy...

Gwildor's new The Little Mermaid Cover

Post by Disney Duster »

I never would have thought it could work, but you put the title on the bottom of the cover, and it looks good! I think the title would be better in the middle, like most of the other Platinum Editions, but it's nice. The only thing is, I think Ursula should make it somewhere on there, and/or maybe Eric. But good work!

Let's hope that in The Little Mermaid platinum edition dvd there will be a trailer for...
THE LITTLE MERMAID 3!!!!!!!!
The only thing that sounds better to me is the launch of the 3rd movie among with the original's rerelease, and a new special edition for the second movie. What do we have here? THE LITTLE MERMAID TRILOGY!!! I can hardly wait!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Looks fake to me (especially about Ursulla taken from previous release) but we never know!

All the characters are taken from previous releases so no, I don't think it's the cover. Although it's very Platinum-like!

It may be a Work in Progress version where they use bits of old video covers to create an image and then use that as a template for a better image (ala the ones for Bambi and Lady and the Tramp).

It's pretty nice and is very aesthetic to the eye, but the colors are too bright for my taste. I'd rather have bold colors like previous platinum releases.

I really like that fake one lol, too bright maybe, but i wouldn't be upset if it was the final design.
