The Little Mermaid: Platinum Edition (with DVD teaser pics!)
Does somebody know when will be released a trailer or something?

They took us to a magical journey under the sea, they show us how a beautiful girl can look into a heart of a beast, they even made us fly on a magic carpet...
Someday the magic will return!

Was there preliminary art for Cinderella and Lady in the Tramp included with the Bambi: Platinum Edition release? Just wondering...Disney Duster wrote: I have a feeling that since the Aladdin Platinum Edition had a booklet with some preliminary artwork for Bambi and Cinderella, the Cinderella Platinum Edition will have a booklet showing us the preliminary artwork for Lady and the Tramp and The Little Mermaid! After all, the trailer is on the Cinderella DVD.

Re: Go under the sea...
The Bambi Platinum Edition DVD had a booklet called the "Disney DVD Insider". In the booklet, they had two pages about the Cinderella DVD. The first page just had a picture of Cinderella with the coach in the background, and a picture of Lucifer the cat was next to a "fun fact" about how an animator based Lucifer off his own calico cat.Tthe next page talked about the movie's release a little bit, and had a small picture of preliminary artwork for the DVD. There wasn't any artwork for Lady and the Tramp in the booklet or any of the DVD's other inserts, but Bambi was a Spring (March) Platinum Edition release, which does get as much hype or attention as the Fall (usually October) releases. For example, Aladdin and Cinderella have Collector's Gift Sets, but Bambi does not.azul017 wrote:Was there preliminary art for Cinderella and Lady in the Tramp included with the Bambi: Platinum Edition release? I'm really happy about this!!! I know time will pass fast. I'm very sure that there will be lots of 'The Little Mermaid - Special Edition' merchandise out there just like they've put out many Cinderella things since this summer. That makes me VERY HAPPY and excited!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure because Cinderella and Ariel are supposed to be the characters that sell most... lol...
I just hope the cover art of the DVD is nice... Phil Barnhart doesn't do that well with the princesses... he makes Cinderella look fat, chubby and ugly... poor Cindy...

Gwildor's new The Little Mermaid Cover
I never would have thought it could work, but you put the title on the bottom of the cover, and it looks good! I think the title would be better in the middle, like most of the other Platinum Editions, but it's nice. The only thing is, I think Ursula should make it somewhere on there, and/or maybe Eric. But good work!

Let's hope that in The Little Mermaid platinum edition dvd there will be a trailer for...
THE LITTLE MERMAID 3!!!!!!!!
The only thing that sounds better to me is the launch of the 3rd movie among with the original's rerelease, and a new special edition for the second movie. What do we have here? THE LITTLE MERMAID TRILOGY!!! I can hardly wait!!!!!!
