Movies you saw more than once in the theater

There's a stage version at Disney's California Adventure, which I really want to see.

I seen that own last time I went to DCA. It was good. The genie was pretty funny. No Robin Williams but still.

Anyway, flims I seen more than once in a theater

A bugs life( 4 times. I loved that movie when I was 7, Haven't seen it in a while though)

Chicago( 4 times. Fell in love with it when I was 11. I still love it.)

Starksy & Hucth( 2 times. Good movie but I don't know why I saw twice.)

Ah, that makes sense. I picked up a copy at Virgin Megastore to read the back, and was wondering why Disney cast a lot of British actors.

So naturally the direct-to-video films like the upcoming "Lilo and Stitch 2" won't find a home in my collection. If it isn't good enough for the movie theater, it isn't good enough for my collection. Besides, if it is direct-to-video it isn't a movie.

I forgot one that was very special to me:

Freddy vs Jason.

And it is special because of the ways I watched it.

The first time was when I won a couple of tickets for the premiere by calling a to a radio station.

Then, second time with my parents.

And the third time was when the movie arrived in Spain (early Oct.)

Not to mention that on DVD, I bought it the day it got released and watched it 3 times straight: just the movie, with the commentary and then on the computer with the game.

...after that more than 20 times... for sure.

Escopay, you answered your own question...............Tv Movies are just that...TV movies. Direct-to-video films are videos. A movie is only a movie when it is shown in the movie theater..........key word "movie". Made for TV movies are shown on TV, thus they are made for tv movies.

By the way, I am happy to say that one of the made-for-television movies that I had a part in (many moons ago) was just recently shown on the History Channel because of its historical significance to WWII - the movie was called "The Longest Hundred Miles" and starred Doug McClure, Ricardo Montalban, and Katherine Ross. I had a small part as 1sr Lieutenant in Doug McClure's rag-tag resuce operation of 100 orphans stranded 100 miles behind enemy lines in the Philippines in World War II. I would never say that it was a movie, but it WAS a made-for-television movie.

The last movie I watched, more than once in the theatre, was Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith! I enjoyed it both times I saw it, and CAN'T WAIT for it to be on DVD!!!



Before that, I know that I saw The Incredibles in the theatre, twice.

I saw all three Jurassic Park movies 4 times each. The first two Harry Potter movies, four times each and the third Harry Potter movie twice.

X-Men 3 is being filmed here. I saw Jackman the other day. I just cant get away from these Marvel movies. I move from Vancouver during Fantastic Four and now they are filming Xmen two miles away from my house.

For the longest time i hadn't seen a movie more than once in the theatres. I think as a kid the last one was the Lion King.

Then I didn't see a movie twice till Pirates of the Caribbean. I think I saw that like 5 or 6 times in theatres. I just kept seeing it with different groups of people.

Since then I've seen Spiderman 2, Revenge of the Sith, and Batman Begins twice.

I always hear people say they have gone to see movies two or three times in theaters. I almost always go just once, if I like it that much I'll buy the DVD eventually. I've seen two movies more than once though that I can think of. I saw The Lion King & Chicago both twice in theaters. I was just wondering if you guys see movies more than once in theaters?

I think the only movie I've seen twice in theaters was Shrek 2. I keep thinking there were others, but I can't remember.

I've seen TONS of movies more than once, here's all the ones I can remember:

Lion King: 3 times

Fellowship of the Ring: 4 times

Two Towers: 7 TIMES!

Return of the King: 7 TIMES!!

Star Wars Attack of the Clones: 2 times

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith: 2 times

I can't really remember anything else I've seen more than once, but I know they exist

Wow, you spent a lot of money, and could have waited for the DVD.

I haven't seen a movie more than once in the theatres. I think its a waste of money, especially if you see it seven times and you can get the dvd for less and watch unlimited times. I also can't watch a movie more than once in a short period of time because I know whats going to happen and it will be really boring.

Has there ever been a time where you liked a particular movie so much you went to go see it a second time (or even more than twice) in the theaters before waiting for the DVD release?

I can safely claim I've seen Batman Begins twice, which got better and better with the second viewing. But for every other movie I've seen I wait till DVD to see it for the second time.

I know its different. When you're watching a DVD you won't have to deal with large crowds, uncomfortable seats, expensive confections, etc...

Yeah, but action movies are PERFECT for the theater. Especially the gasps, the laughs, and the "DAMN!" and the "OH MY GOD HE DIDN'T!". And the applause at the end is always worth it. It's like why people go to the theater. Sure, it's crowded with uncomfortable seats, but the experience is mindblowing. One reason I'm looking forward to the Sin City SE is because there's an audio track of it's premiere at a theater, complete with audience reactions.

I don't think Sin City would fit well with you. Don't know why.

I normally don't watch action movies in theaters a lot either (with Star Wars and Batman Begins being the two exceptions this year). Heck, I really don't watch many action movies. I like romantic comedies (DO NOT CALL THEM CHICK FLICKS DAMMIT)
