I don't mean to be rude, I really don't... but did I ask for your opinion? I mean we all have our own opinions but sometimes you should keep them to yourself. And that's all I'm gonna say I'm not gonna argue.

But Alice, it's MY siggy. I really think I should be the judge of what's desperate and what's not, and more importantly, if it gets into my siggy or not. :P

The way I do my WTF's, I just read posts, and if something strikes me as a complete WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, then I siggy it. I don't get recommendations from anyone, I don't have anyone specifically say something to me hoping I'll put it in my siggy. I search on my own. It's like something George Carlin once said, and I can't quote it verbatim but here's the gist of it:

When you encounter us comedians, don't start saying the following:

1. "You should work here, you'd get great material!". Something along the lines of just because they think their pathetic jobs are humorous doesn't mean a comedian will think it is.
2. After someone says something they think is funny, they say "You can use that if you want.". We don't care what you say and we sure as hell won't use it.
3. "Be careful what you say around this guy, he might put it in a skit!". It's an ACT, not a skit. See #2.

I think it was in his latest book, something about Jesus and pork chops. So basically, don't approach me with a possible WTF. I should've retired the damn thing at #8, but #9 was so friggin hilarious I had to extend it. Maybe I'll shoot for 15 like I wanted to.

Escapay-I love your WTF quotes! They're funny!

Here are 2 I think you could add:

Alan: I don't think Disney World is safe any more and refuse to go there. I can't believe how many people go there because there are two people already dead in three months!

and

Alan: Does anyone else love the show "Blues Clues" on nick Jr.? Its so interesting and exciting.

First of all, Escapay's a male(maybe that gender indication should be added. Also he could always just ignore me.

Good to see you quoted him before he changed it, T/P. Yes, T/P, I'm a male. And yes, Alan, I don't like to get self-recommendations. As in, if someone like Isidour says something funny and he thinks it's WTF worthy and he tells me, I don't consider it. I don't mind if someone will point out a funny quote by someone else, but it kind of irks me, in that it kind of taints the quote in my mind as I read it and I'll be thinking "someone else found this WTF worthy before I did, so technically it wasn't WTF according to me".

Though I have to try and defend WDW after what Alan said...

Alan: I don't think Disney World is safe any more and refuse to go there. I can't believe how many people go there because there are two people already dead in three months!

Alan, most people have the mentality of "It won't happen to me!". That's why people still go to Walt Disney World. They hear about an unfortunate accident, but they know it's just that. An accident. It will not happen once on the hour every hour 24/7. It's a risk people take, because they want to have fun. Do you want to be safe or do you want to have fun, Alan? Cuts and bruises are a part of life. Death is too. That which does not kill us makes us stronger, or something like that. Don't write off Disney as an unsafe accident waiting to happen. Have fun there if/when you can. If people were safe all the time, they'd miss out on so much.

After months and months of avatar links, I have finally completely changed my siggy. It is now a collection of Teede links including her GMD2 thread that was so long and so useless that Luke finally moved it to the Polls and Games where it finally died.

I hope to continue this "memorable links" idea with one or more of the following:
1. A Best Of collection for DisneyHollywood
2. A Best Of collection for Alan's slipcover obsession
3. A Best Of collection for scandalous threads
Any other ideas?

Nice to see that my (and Alan's) WTF's are appreciated.

And there's nothing wrong with still enjoying a children's show. Every so often I'd tune in to Mr. Rogers' Neighbourhood , Reading Rainbow, and/or Arthur. It's like a comfort zone for me. But Blues Clues??? Even I have my limits.

My siggy is another quote from The Simpsons, this time Grandpa's attitudes to a mysterious Krusty the Clown doll that Bart recieves for his birthday in the episode "Treehouse of Horror 3"

Abe: That doll is *Evil*, I tells ya. Evil! Eeeeeeviillll!!!
Marge: Grandpa, you said that about all the presents.
Abe: I just want attention.

I agree with you there. I believe he also praised Teletubbies as well. Obviously he has a fondness for things that people created whilst on acid (just like me :shifty:)

And here's another WTF quote from our best friend...

On a girl suddenly dying at Typhoon Lagoon: Probably must have been something with the food there. The food sucks at Typhoon Lagoon.

Simple one from Donnie Darko. Mostly because I like rabbits and one of the major players in the film was a psychotic person dressed as a bunny rabbit. If you like critical thinking, you'd like to see that film and think about it. :) It'll take a few watchings to make sense. (Note: its R rated)

Hey Chay Chay,

Don't forget these:

What happened to the rumored Snow White sequel?

and

I'm Going to Planet Mobius

Well speaking of siggy's, I changed mine again. Herbert Lom, the famous actor most famous for playing the villianous Inspector Dreyfus from The Pink Panther series turns 88 today! So I just hope one of my favorite actors has a happy birthday! :) Too bad his birthdate is on 9/11 though! :(

OH WOW, if I actually read that thread at the time, that would have definitely gotten a bit WTF! Too bad it's tainted now!

Anyways, I decided 9 was my limit and I don't want Alan to think I have something against him so in the meantime, my siggy is gonna be dull as it's this:

STOP LOOKING AT MY WTF-LESS SIGGY!!!

They're on page 12, but I'll just quote them and make it easier:
WTF Quote #1:
Alan: (about me flying from Florida to FT. Worth to get BATB) Well, you can always fly down to Ft. Worth stay overnight in a hotel and get it yourself.

WTF Quote #2:
Teede: (kisses [Snow White Sequel] and it wakes up) There. How's that?

WTF Quote #3:
Alan: Its very sad to know that ********** dies.
DisneyFan 2000: I hate you.

WTF Quote #4:
Teede: Hello? Can anyone responding me?

WTF Quote #5: (note, I'd like to retract this quote, if possible, but then my numbers will be screwed up)
Lazario: I actually know what you said. A whole lot of nothing.

WTF Quote #6:
Princess Jasmine: I hate it when nobody replies to my posts so therefore I decided to give you some company.

WTF Quote #7:
Alan:Have never heard of Peter Jennings before, so I don't really care.
Luke: Wow. Thank you sooooooo much for sharing!

WTF Quote #8:
Alan: I just find it sad that whenever I make a thread about Ben-Hur coming out on four disc DVD, only like 3 people reply.

WTF Quote #9:
Alan: But homework is fun!!! :)
Still pondering what could possibly replace WTF. It was perhaps my best siggy series ever...

Good stuff. I know Walt is quoted as saying "You can't top pigs with pigs", but he did make some sequels to "The Three Little Pigs" and there's about to be a third "I Love the '80s" series on VH-1 soon, so, Escapay...clearly a thing as good as the WTF series shouldn't be out of the question of revisiting, even if the sequel-haters will complain that the second series isn't as good as the first, and others will praise it just because they respect that the sequel-makers put effort into what they do.

I'm pretty sure you know what I'm saying and with 178,090 posts on the forum (even after some recent Polls & Games vote cleanup)...there's plenty of ripe material without even a need to double-dip.
