Sun flower has been edited out of Fantasia since 1969. The strang thing is Disney edited the Black slaves but left the White slaves in the movie. They should've at least released the uncut version in Japan that way I could've imported it.

no problem. I would like to see more info on Walt himself making this cut though...I have done some research on fantasia over the years, and never have come across that documented anywhere.

Disney has found creative ways to hack out certain parts of films. From the modern day digital editing, zooming, and so on...I hate it. I'm not saying that it was right or wrong, but just because it shouldn't have happened doesn't mean it didn't happen. Erasing history is no way to learn from it.

this is also the great debate when it comes to song of the south
