I did plenty of research in preperation for the speech. I covered the origins of both formats, the differences between Letterbox & Pan-And-Scan (I used pics to illustrate this), and explained aspect ratios. I was really nervous about perhaps being to technical, but everyone afterward really loved the information and said I did a fantastic job at keeping it understandable.
Heck, even in someone elses speech when they used a projector to show a computer screen, he said "This isn't exactly widescreen, but I hope it'll do."
So, anyway, I just wanted to give big props to Luke. That was the perfect topic for me and it was a bit hit with everyone. A giant thank you
