I'll only get the sequels if I like them. It doesn't matter to me if they're good, bad, fullscreen, widescreen, long, short, tall, small, fat, skinny, whatever. If I like it, it belongs on my shelf. I do feel awkward if I have a sequel without having the original though.

So far, the only ones that I like are:

- Return of Jafar
- King of Thieves
- Pooh's Grand Adventure (which has yet to be DVD-ified)
- The Lion King 2 (which I'm still trying to find thanks to the stupid out-of-print rule)
- John

I don't own many Disney sequels, simply because Kram collects the animated ones. I do have "Honey We Shrunk Ourselves", which at one time was played on the Disney Channel at least twice a week back in the day
Yeah, it was on so much, I thought it was a series because I never watched it all the way through

At one time, I had all the sequels released up to Return to Neverland.
Then I decided to get rid of the ones I knew I'd never watch again.
That cut the number of sequels I have way down.
I won't be buying anymore sequels, unless I like them enough to watch more than twice.

The only reason why I'm gonna buy Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest is out of curiosity. I'm quite interested about what these Disney producers dreamed up for this moive. However, if it sucks it's going strait to the garbage, and I'm serious. Sure I would waste money but money can always be remade.

I second that!

But I think I´ll rent it first and then decide if I buy it

Because I want to.
I don't rent; I get enough discounts that persuade me to buy the movie for us & others to watch. I'm not greedy. :p

Or, another answer is: "Because I like to spend money. I save money in my DVD collection."

No, but really, I enjoy cartoons. Or mainly because I'm still hanging on to my last year as a "teen". :(

I want Bambi and the Great Prince because it looks like a good movie. Andreas Deja worked on it, so the animation definitely won't suck. Sometimes the TV Animation department doesn't nail the characters right.

I like to get Disney sequels simply because they are sequels! My favorite type of movie is a Disney movie and if there is a sequel, then gawrsh darnnit I'm gonna get it! I like to watch sequels to any movie I enjoyed. Sometimes you get disappointed (Grease II), and sometimes you get surprised (Toy Story II). Mulan 2 was a tad disappointing since Mulan suddenly became girly, but I still liked it. Some of it surprised me. Pocahontas 2 was good but it's songs were too difficult to enjoy after the terrific, poetic lyrics from the first movie. Though I usually buy sequels that interest me based on how much I liked the first one and how its promotion makes me want to see it. I don't really want Tarzan II since I don't feel like learning about Tarzan's evolution from baby human to humanoid ape. Though I still would like to see Tarzan and Jane.

Sequels I want to see are Lilo and Stitch II, Brother Bear II and Cinderella III. I hope they make a whole movie with Cinderella III rather than cheat with a collection of shorts.

It's odd how the only Disney features in which the original works have a sequel are not getting a sequel (Alice in Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty).

It was very boring. Save yourself Kram! 8)
But it's just a couple of episodes pasted into one DVD. But it was still interesting! But stupid because of the d*mn voice changes, especially without Rosie.

I found Tarzan and Jane quite good
I never here it when the Original voices are changed, but I do hear it when the Dutch voices are changed, but the voices are all the same in Tarzan and Jane in Holland
so I did like the movie, especially the story with the helicopter...

I mean:

1) You buy just the sequels of your favorite movie (so you have them all)?

2) You buy just the good sequel to your favorite movie.

3) You buy all sequels to have them all.

4) You just buy the sequels if they're good ones.

5) You just don't buy them.

... in my case, I'll say it one last time.

Just have the Aladdin sequels becuase of my favorite movie.

I just have Lion King 1 1/2 because: it has good quality, it is a parody and the price was right ($10)

... other than that I won't buy any more sequels.
i don't know i have lilo and stitch movies but waiting for stitch has glitch but most squels i enjoy watching

Actually I do my best thinking in the shower, but I'm not gonna get into that? :D
Anyways, I'm still not too crazy about sequels but that's because I never seen any of them except Rescuer's Down Under which, I have. However, I want to see the sequels to The Lion King though. Maybe I'll rent them.

Some sequels I think live up to the originals but some lose the spirit of the original. Like The lion king 2 was I tought one of the better sequels out there. Some I still havne't see yet.

The only sequels I bought were Lion King 2 and Lion King 1 1/2. The rest I just rent and I watch these sequels for the sake of curiosity. How can Disney pull off telling a new story to old classics? It depends on what they do I guess.

I may have to buy Mulan II only because I have been dying to see it but the Blockbuster near my house does not carry it. That completely baffles me!!!!!

I don't buy them. I rent them and if I like them, I'll buy them. Sadly, I've only seen The Little Mermaild II and that was very bad so I doubt I'll be buying that anytime soon.

I have a few.

I have lion king 2, because it was one of the discs that you could get free if you bought three. I don't think I'd pay for it.

I have lady and tramp 2, because I thought it might be good because Scamp had stories from the comics. I didn't think it was that good, though, wish I hadn't bought it.

I bought 101 dalmations 2 after I saw it on TV and then saw it on sale for $10. I thought that it wasn't that bad and that kids might like it. I wouldn't have if I didn't have kids, though.

I bought peter pan 2 because the quality looked OK. I'm indifferent to it.

I bought lion king 1.5 because I thought it looked interesting. It was OK.

Here's the thing. It doesn't take long for these things to get on the disney channel/toon disney. Unless I thought I would really like it, I wouldn't buy it. Just because Disney puts it on dvd doesn't mean you have to buy it. I tivo-d then moved to vhs several of the sequals: cinderella 2, pocahontus 2, hunchback 2, 102 dalmations, tarzan and jane, atlantis 2, twice upon a christmas, jungle book 2, probably more. I'm glad that I didn't BUY them on dvd. I don't see any purpose for them really except if kids want to watch them. I'd just wait for them to come on disney channel and tape them. I mean, the quality isn't so high that the dvd looks much better, and the material isn't good enough that you really care how it looks anyway.

I don't like wasting money on sequels like "Mulan 2" when I could be buying better stuff.
